Yes you will deal with security again once you go from Terminal 8 American airlines to Terminal 4 Emirates terminal. From terminal 8 take any train on track 1 to get to terminal 4.
Terminal 7 to 8 - quick turnaround
Getting in at 0700 on Cathay Pacific at Terminal 7. Flight to DC from terminal 8 at 0815 .... do-able on a Sunday morning? ... Hope so.

taking unaccompanied minor from domestic arrival to internationa
my 13 yearold granddaughter will arrive Delta domestic terminal from SFO (in June) and I will be at the gate to meet her with documentation.
then, we both need to get to Delta International Terminal for a departure.
there are 2 hours in between the time of her domestic flight arrival from SFO and the departure time of our internationsl flight to CDG that evening.
DOES THIS AMOUNT OF TIME/UNACCOMPANIED MINOR GETTING HER OFF THE PLANE EARLY SOUND WORKABLE?

are we inside security while transferring terminals?
ex: if arriving at Terminal 2 or 3 and departing from Terminal 4, are we inside Security this entire time?

can we check luggage at our originating airport (ex: SFO and ROC) straight thru to our arriving airport (CDG), even though we are making a connection at JFK? All on Delta.

Going to arrivals by bus
I hope to take the bus from manhattan to meet a friend who is arriving there, but the bus drops me off at "departures". Can I walk to the international arrivals area? Or is it too far?

I am flying into JFK Friday Sept 16th arriving at 7:30am on JetBlue. I know that is terminal 5 My husband is driving from southhampton to pick me up. Where is the best place for him to pick me up and where do I go from terminal 5 to meet him? I will have no luggage to pickup. Just need to know how to get out of airport and the easiest place for him to pick me up
