Hi,

We are arriving on Delta from Salt Lake City in Terminal 3 and going on to Terminal 8 to go to Turks and Caicos. What is the best way to go and about how long will it take? Also, will we have to go through security again when we go from terminal to terminal?

Take all terminals air train from T3 to T8. It takes about 2 minutes.

Take any train on track 2 from terminal 4 to terminal 8.

Hi! I need to make you a question and I hope you can help me.My mother will arrive to terminal 4 (Taca ) at 1 a.m. and i will arrive to terminal 8 (AA) AT 6 A.M. My mother will wait for me, and we dont´t know where she can do that. My question is: a) How much is the distance between both terminals?, b) Can she walk that distance with her luggage (from terminal 4 to terminal 8) or she need to take a taxi or a transfer? c) In terminal 8, is there any place where get information about my flight so she can wait me in the correct gate? Thank you very much!

a Its is a quick ride on an air train of about 2 minutes. b She can take an air train on track 2 with her luggage. c Unfortunately terminal 8 is closed overnight and only terminal where you can meet and greet is terminal 4.

Hi! First of all, thank you for answering me. Is possible that my mother stays in Terminal 4 (her flight arrives at 1 a.m.)and at 6 a.m. she goes to Terminal 8 with the air train to meet me there? At what time opens terminal 8, the arrivals hall? I´ve never been in terminal 8,and, of course, i don´t know how it is, so, it´s ok if my mother wait for me in the arrivals hall of t8 at 6 a.m? Do you think it´s a good idea? Thank you very very much.

Terminal 4 arrivals hall is more straight forward. Terminals usually open around 6AM.

Hi, I am a travel agent, and wonder if it's ok to offer my customer 2 separate tickets with a connection time of 4 Hours.
He will arrive terminal 8, but should depart from terminal 4.
Will he have enough time to make it through?

I am arriving AA from Canada at JFK Terminal 8 at 1:10 PM. I only have carry-on bags, no check-in bags. I need to connect flight at Terminal 4 Air India at 3 PM.

(a) Since this is a transit situation just for connecting flights between 2 terminals, do I have to go through security and custom immigration again at Terminal 4 ?

(b) Since I have carry-on bags, how much time is needed to go from Terminal 8 to Terminal 4, if I have to clear custom & immigation, and security again ?

(c) Is there usually a long line for custom & security clearance at Terminal 4 ?

Hi, I will arrive to Terminal 8 with AA flight (from Italy) at 13.40 pm. and my connecting flight for Los Angeles leaves from the same Terminal 8 at 15.35 pm.

Can I help myself to save time by having luggage so I shouldn't wait for it and then check-in? Or it doesn't take much time usually?

I am flying from Italy, to Bermuda via JFK (both on American), and have a tight connection. If I'm not staying on American soil, do I still go through immigration? Thanks.
