1.Go for JFK airport terminal 4 which is open 24/7.
2.Taxi would be a good choice.
3.After you clear security at Terminal 7 you may always go back to Terminal 4 but you will have to clear security each time you leave and come back again.
4.They should be open 2 hours prior to your flight.

Hello,
We will fly with AA from Las Vegas to NY and arrive there at 4:10PM terminal 8 and the next flight to Hamilton Bermuda leaves at 5:40pm terminal 8 too. We are 2 adults and 3 small children. Is that enough time to get through all the security etc. and to catch the flight in time?

Thanks!

You should have enough time as long as your first flight is on time.

I am considering booking a Jetblue flight from Boston that will land at JFK at 8.20am, Terminal 5. I then fly out on South African Airways at 11.15am Terminal 4. Will this be enough time between flights?

Yes plenty of time with almost 3 hour time window.

Apologies! I misread the time. It lands at 9.20am, so only a two hour window. Would that still work?

With 2 hours time frame you still should be fine.

I'm arriving at Terminal 7 at 12:30 PM and leaving from terminal 5 at 2:59 PM, how long does it take me to get between terminals and what is the best way to do that?

It takes about 2 minutes. From T7 take any train on track 2 to terminal 5.

I am to arrive with LOT airlines to JFK at 9pm. But I need to get to Syracuse that day. My connecting flight to Syracuse leaves at 10:46 pm, that leaves me with a little bit more than an hour and half for the transfer to the terminal 5 from terminal 4 where LOT arrives to. Is that enough time to change the terminals and go through all the security checks and such?

You should be OK if your first flight is on time.

that is a very big IF. would two and a half hours when coming from Syracuse and getting on an international flight be ok? I don't think they check your documents when leaving the US, do they?

That is a better time frame for you. You dont have to clear immigration or Customs when you leave the US.
They dont check documents when you leave.

We are arriving T4 from Frankfurt on Singapore Air. Flight arrives at 11 am NYC time. Connecting on JetBlue (T5) approximately 7 hours later.

Any thoughts on where we might find a quiet place for our toddler to nap before the connecting flight?

Closest transit hotel? Anything in the airport itself? We're happy to pay but want to know what makes sense in terms of timing.

I assume we'll have to go through security again no matter what we do????

My partner and I are both leaving from JFK on a Friday, could you please help us by answering the following questions...

1. She is departing from Terminal 4 at 14:30hrs

2. My flight leaves from Terminal 8 at 15:00hrs

Question: what time will we have to leave downtown NYC so I can check her in for her international flight and still make my internal flight in a safe time...

I don't want to rush and would like to get her completely checked in, say good bye and get to my terminal in good time....also how would i get to my terminal from hers?

Thanks for your help and time

Brendon
