Picking up a 17 year old minor arriving from argentina, will we be able to meet him at the gate?
transfer at JFK
My friends are arriving from Helsinki on Finnair airline to JFK Terminal 8. At JFK Terminal 8, they have transfer to San Francisco by American airline. Do they have to go through the Custom at JFK and pick up Luggage before the transfer on to American airline to San Francisco.

My family will arrive at terminal 8 with Royal Jordanian flight on 29 Jun at 1615 hrs, next flight is from Terminal 5 with JetBlue at 2000hrs.
Please advice if this time between the flight is ok for immigration and custom and what is the best way to reach from Terminal 8 to terminal 5.

BAGGAGE TRANSFER TERMINAL1 TO TERMINAL8
I have a flight between Istanbul to New York JFK (Turkish Airlines) in 4th August. I will arrive in JFK at 4:30pm. I have a seperate ticket from JFK to Tampa (American Airlines) at 7:30pm in the same day. These two flights are not connected (I bought them seperately). What is the procedure for my baggage at JFK? How can I transfer my baggage? Do I have to carry my baggage from Terminal 1 to Terminal 8? Do I enough time for check in for the Tampa flight? Thanks.
You will clear Customs and
You will clear Customs and Immigration first and then you will have to separately recheck your luggage for the second flight. You have enough time with 3 hour time window.

I am traveling from Brussel to Los Angeles, transferring in JFK.
My questions:
When I arrive at JFK do I have to claim my baggage and then check it in again for LAX?I'm arriving and departing at terminal 8.
On my way back from LA to Brussel, I'm transferring in JFK again, arriving and departing at terminal 8, but I only have 1 hour and 10 minutes. Will I have enough time to go from one gate to another with security and custom?

I´ll fly with AA on june 17th from Guatemala to JFK, my cousin will arrive same day from Rome to JFK.
We want to meet at the airport to go to the hotel together.
Questions:
1. Could you tell me which terminal is for each flight (AA/DL)
2. We need to pick up laugagge, where is bagagge claim located for each airline.
3. Which one could be a good point to meet with my cousin between bouth terminals? Please give me a place for reference like a cofee shop, souvenier store, etc...

pet dog arriving on AA flight
Hi there
I'm going to be picking up my husband and kids who will be arriving on an international AA flight with our pet dog who is being shipped as accompanied baggage in the hold. They will be arriving at 9pm on a Saturday.
Will our dog be able to clear customs at the weekend? Where should be pick him up from? Can I go pick him up while my husband and children are clearing immigration and customs themselves or should they pick him up from inside the terminal?

Connection in Terminal 8
I am travelling from Caribbean to Chennai on 16 July. I will got o Miami on AA and will clear the US immigration in Miami and then go to NY. My flight reaches there at 4:40 pm in Terminal 8 and my next flight is on Jet Airways at 6:20 pm from Terminal 8 itself. Would I have enough time to get out of the AA flgiht, get to Jet Airways, get my boarding pass and get back to Jet Airways flight on time. My travel agent said it is a valid connection. I will have two girls with me - 9 and 12 year olds. Jet Airways do not have a counter in Miami, so I cannot get my Jet Airways boarding passes in Miami. Is there any way I can the Jet Airways boarding passes when I get off the AA flight in Terminal 8 and not having to find my way to JEt Airways counter and stand in queue there to get my boarding pass? Where can I find a map of Terminal 8. Thanks.
