Hi there;

Question: Are there shuttles that travel from JFK airport directly to Washington DC? If not, what would be the easiest way to get there - other than flying....

Thank you.

I would take the Chinatown bus. Its $20 one way. http://mvpbus.com/ (I've taken it many times. All you have to do is get to Penn Station in the City.)

I will be arriving at JFK early in the morning and plan to take the Air Train to Jamaica and catch the subway from there. However, I have difficulty with stairs even with my cane, plus I will have a rolling suitcase. Is there an elevator at Jamaica Station? Is there one into the E train entrance? Thanks anyone for your help.

my daughter and I have a 4 hour layover at JFK,Delta to London. Is is possible to take the airtrain to Jamaica Station, stay on and go back for free? Is there anything to see? Entertaining for people not used to public transportation? Where is it?

If I am correct... the airtrain INSIDE the airport is free... but to go to Jamaica Station I have to get like a $7 ticket or something.. or is it $12?... I want to know how much is a ticket to Jamaica Station and where am I supposed to purchase it?
Thank you!

ps: arriving at terminal 4

Riding the AirTrain from terminal to terminal is free. If you take it to Jamaica or Howard Beach station, you pay there, when you get off and leave the station. It is $5. To take the subway would then be $2, resulting in $7 to get to Manhattan or wherever else you need to go.

I come from Bucharest upon JFK Term 3 and I want to fly homeward Pittsburgh...I must get the plane upon Term 5??
