There are baggage carts(Smart Carts) in each rental car facility at JFK. They cost non-refundable $5. You can load easily 3 big bags on it and couple of small ones. Take this cart onto the Airtrain and all the way to your airline check-in counter.
Another option is to stop at the departure level at the terminal you are departing from , unload the bags and if you not traveling alone let the other(s) wait for you till you return the rental car.

We would like to go from JFK to 38-30 Crescent Street
Long Island City (New York), NY 11101, could you please help us ouT?
thanx, Max

You have two options :
Taxi will charge you on the meter - expect between $35-$45 for the whole cab.
Mass transit is another option - take Airtrain to Jamaica Station, then transfer to subway E to Roosevelt Ave, then transfer to subway F(going towards Manhattan) and get off on 21st street stop. Walk two blocks on 21st street towards 39th ave and make right on 39th ave.Walk 5 blocks to 25th street and make a left.Hotel Ramada is right around the corner.

Hi there,

Could you be so kind to tell me how to get from JFK Airport to Candy Hostel - 316 West 95th Street,
It would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks.

Hi Maria,
Taxi will cost you flat fare of $45+toll($5.50)for the whole taxi.
There is shuttle(look for it at Ground transportation counter or Welcome Center) that goes to any hotel/hostel in Manhattan for $18.50 per person.
Airtrain+Subway is another option. It will cost you $7.25 per person.Take Airtrain to Jamaica Station, then subway line E to 42nd street, transfer to subway line 1,2 or 3 (direction uptown) and get off at 96th street stop. The hostel is a block away going west on 95th street.

best air train route from greenwich village housten street to jfk?

Two options :
1.Take subway F going towards Queens to Roosevelt Ave then transfer onto E to Jamaica Station. There take Airtrain to JFK
2. Take subway F going towards Brooklyn to Jay Str/Borough Hall stop and transfer to subway A going to JFK(Rockaway line). Get off at Howard Beach station and take Airtrain to JFK.

To me, the second option may be faster.
