Well, both terminals(T5-Jet Blue and T3-Delta) don't have luggage storage facility. Use the one at T4 - the terminals are close by and it will take you 10-15 min to retrieve your bags from T4 and go to T3.

Hello,

Here is my question: I arrive at 7:16 am on Delta and I leave at 6:15 pm with Delta on the same day. I want to go visit Manhattan for the day, so I would like to know whether you think it will be possible to check in my bag for the next flight when I arrive in the morning or whether I will have to leave my bag at one of the storage locker facilities?

Also, are there usually any security concerns for leaving luggage at the lockers or is it always safe?

Thank you very much for your helpful answers.

None of the airlines will check bags that early - use the luggage storage which is safe.

Do I have to bring a lock to store my bag in the storage/locker?

No , you don't have to.

Hi,

I'll be arriving at terminal 7 on Friday afternoon, and departing from terminal 4 at 11pm Saturday night. I'd appreciate it if I could get some info on the best way to store my surfboard overnight, and pick it up the next day before my flight.

Thanks
tb

You can store it in the storage at T4. It is located on the first floor, next to hotel reservation counter.

16$ a day means every calender day or 24 hrs? for example from noon to noon? thanks in advance

It means every 24 hrs. For example: if you leave the item at 16:00 today you will be charged the price for one day as long as you take the item out before 16:00 tomorrow.

I will arrive at Terminal 1 on a Delta airline flight and will depart five days later from Terminal 3 with Delta as well. I need to leave some luggages at the left luggage. Is there a left luggage at Terminal 3?
What is the openning hours?
How do I go from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3?
What is the daily charge for teh following pices of luggage;
a) 20" deep x 13" wide x 29" high
b) 30" deep x 15" wide x 13" high

Regards, Luciano

Hey Luciano,
There is no baggage storage at T3. Use the one at T1 or T4.
I would say that your a) piece of luggage is medium-$~12/per day, b) piece is probably large - ~$16/per day.
The opening hours are mentioned in the info at the beginning of this page.
From Terminal 1 you can take Airtrain on track 1 for one stop to Terminal 3.

I am arriving to JFK from Atlanta with Delta Airlines (terminal 2 / 3), and leaving 4 days later with Delta as well. I want to know, how much time should I calculate to check in and out my bag in the storage for these 4 days?

I will be at the airport with 2 hours in advance (for my departure), will this be enough to get my bag from the storage and check it in for the flight? Or should I be there with mroe time?

Since last year it took me forever to get on an American Airlines flight.

I will appreciate your comments,
