I am trying to work out how long it will take to go from JFK to the World Trade Centre. Can you please advise. If I get the Airtrain to Jamaica Station and get the E Subway to the World Trade Centre, how long roughly would that journey take in total?
Any help would be appreciated?

Sarah

It will take you somewhere between 1hr 10 min - 1hr 20min.

If I am arriving with Jet Blue and wish to go in to NY for a few hours before my next plane departs, will the air train take me into NY and how long will it take to get in there? What is the cost?

The Airtrain will take you to the nearest subway station(Howard Beach or Jamaica) or nearest LIRR train station(Jamaica). From there you can take either subway or LIRR train to the city. The cost is $5.00(Airtrain)+$2.25(Subway). Slightly more for the LIRR train.

Do I have to pay for children?

Airtrain has age limit for the children - 5yrs and younger ride free.
Subway has a height limit - as per their website:"Up to three children 44 inches tall and under ride for free on subways and local buses when accompanied by a fare paying adult".
For LIRR: "Children under 5 years old ride free at all times. Children ages 5-11 travel at half the adult fares."
LIRR also have so called Family Fare:
"Family Fare
Good on off-peak trains, for children ages 5-11 who are traveling with a fare-paying adult guardian (18 years or older). Up to four children can travel with each adult for .75 cents each way when tickets are purchased in advance; on the train this fare is $1.00. Additional children ride for the applicable child fare. Family fare tickets presented on peak trains are subject to a substantial price adjustment. Sold under "One Way" or "Round Trip" ticket buttons on ticket machines and WebTicket when off peak is selected. Valid for 6 months from date of sale."

We are being dropped off at the Federal Circle stop of the Airtran. Final destination is JetBlue terminal. We will have a fair amount of luggage - are there baggage carts at the Federal Circle stop?

Yes, right outside the station, 1st floor, by Dollar rental car facility.

Hi,
I`m arriving from Prague on monday around 2:30 p.m., i dont know the terminal but airline is KLM, how to get to Penn Sta quick and not expensive?
Ive never been to NY so I dont know how to go.. and
I need a connection to take bus at 5 pm.
Thanks

Take Airtrain from any terminal on track 1 to Jamaica Station( be careful - on that track there are two alternating trains going to different routes; check the sign above the doors as the train arrives; the red colored sign is Jamaica one). Then take LIRR train to Penn Station.

Could you please advise if the airtrain operates within night hours as well? We'll get to Jamaica station at about 1.40 a.m. Will there be any airtrains available to get to JFK? Thanks a lot!

Airtrain operates non-stop. At that time there is Airtrain leaving Jamaica station every 10 min.
