Early (earlier that 6:00am) pick-up of luggage is possible.
Price list (as of May 1st,2010) for baggage storage only at the facilities at Terminal 1 and Terminal 4.
The prices are per bag, per 24 hours:
Up to 20" - $4
21" - 24" - $6
25" - 26" - $8
27" - 32" - $11
Other(non standard bags, skis etc) - $16

Hi me again I arrive on Delta airlines how far is T4 how do i get there and do you have an airport map online?

T4 is not far away. Use Airtrain - cross the the street fro T3 and take Airtrain on track 1 . Get off next stop and you will be on the third floor of T4. The luggage storage is on the first floor.

Hi im Ian im going to virginia tommorow what is the amount of pounds your allwed to take on the plane for luggage i have 27.7 lbs of luggage in my suitcase can I board with my suitcase with me on the plane?

Call your airline - they will tell you the limits(since evry airline has different standards).

I am arriving on Aeroflot
I am arriving on Aeroflot airlines from Moscow in terminal 1 at JFK and I would like to store multible cases for 5 days to visit NYC before I board Jetblue in Terminal 5 leaving to Florida..! What is the best palce to store such luggage? and How much it cost? Thanks in advance.!

Terminal 1 has a baggage storage , you can store it there(just note the hours of operation). The prices are above, at the beginning of this web page.

Luggage storage
Hi, I arrive at JFK on delta airlines from Atlanta at 11:54 pm with a 5 year old(is the storage service closed at that time?)
I will depart the next morning at 11:15 am on south African airlines SAA (international flight i need to get there 3 hours before which makes it at 8 am
Assuming i can store the suitcases overnight how far or how close is the storage place to where i need to check in with SAA? how much time should i allow ( 5 year old with me)

Hi Larissa,
The storage at T4 is open 24 hours and that is where South African Airlines is located at. All you need to get your bags out of that storage is 10 min.

I am flying from Miami into
I am flying from Miami into JFK on 5/2 on American Airlines, arriving at 6:05pm. From there I am flying to Dubai on Emirates at 11:00pm. I need to store my luggage while I'm in Miami and pick it up to bring to Dubai. Where should I store the luggage and will I have enough time in between the two flights?

Store you bags at the luggage storage at Terminal 4.

Luggage Storage
I fly in at 0835 on Flight 52 with JetBlue and Depart at 1500 on flight DL709. Where is the most practical luggage storage facility for me to leave my baggage whilst I go into the city. Last time I did this in the UK I left it in one terminal and departed from another and they were about 2miles apart so I had a long walk to recover my luggage to be able to check in, so wanted to avoid those sort of problems this time!
