Customs
I land from Italy at JFK at 1:40 pm and my next flight is to Chicago at 3:05 pm . Is that enough time to clear customs? What happens with my bag? Do I have to recheck it? Thanks.

You have just enough time. You have to pick up your bag before you go through US customs. Then re-check it either at connecting flights counter for the airline that flew your in from Italy or take it with you and re-check it in at the counter for the airline that will fly you over to Chicago.

Transfer time at JFK T8
I'm planning a trip from Toronto to Helsinki through JFK. From Finnair.ca, the AA eagle arrives at T8 at 16:30 and Finn Air leaves for Helsinki at 17:40. Although I'll clear customs at Pearson airport, is the 1 hour 10 minutes transfer time enough?

It is all due to the events in Europe. Judging by the news - there is no sign that the situation will ease. Keep contact with your airline for the flight info.

wrapping luggage
Does terminal 8 offers the service to wrap your luggage? I know that terminal 4 exist, but do you know if they also offer that service at terminal 8? I'm leaving tomorrow, flying international, and I would like to protect my luggages. Thank you!

arrival from dubai in terminal 8 to transfer to terminal 4
dear help,
i arrive 0745hrs to terminal 8 from Dubai on Emirates Airlines, and i connect flight 1100hrs AAirlines at terminal 4 to turks and caicos.
question- is this enough time to make the connection (assume lateness by at least 1 hour)?
question- do i have to check my bags out and take with me on the train?

You arrive at T4 and connect with AA at T8.
The time frame is enough(even with 1 hour lateness).
At T4 you have to pick up your bags in order to go through US customs.
You can either transfer your bags at Connecting flights counter at T4 or take them with you and check them in at T8.

I will be arriving from American Airlines from Boston. and will take a AirIndia flight.
I am seeing it looks like the Terminals. This is my first time flying by myself and I only have a 2 hours layover. so can you suggest me how to go JFK to Air India flight.

Go to the second floor of Terminal 8, follow the signs for the Airtrain and take it on track 2 to Terminal 4.
