My niece is Flying Delta from Malaga via JFK to Los Angeles the 12th of August. She is a US citizen.
What will the procedure be at JFK? Will she have to go through passport control and customs? Does she have to check in again at JFK? And finally, will she have to change terminals?

She has to go through immigration, pick up her bags and go through US customs. Then she can re-check the bags at Delta connecting flights counter. It is very hard to determine if she has to change the terminals since Delta operates out of three terminals at JFK(T2,T3 and T4).

I am arriving at JFK from England on 19th September and have to get to Fairfield Inn Long Island City Van Dam Street. Could anyone tell me the best way to get there without taking a cab.

Subway should get you pretty close. Take Airtrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station, then take the E subway to Jackson Hgts/Roosevelt Ave. Follow signs to transfer to the Manhattan-bound #7 subway to 33rd St./Rawson St. Walk two blocks west on Queens Blvd. to Van Dam St. Turn left and follow Van Dam St. under the L.I. Expressway to the hotel.

HI!

Can anyone tell me how can I get to JFK from Brighton Beach the fastest? If I dont want to use taxi, but subway.
My flight will take off at 10:30, so i was planning of leaving towards JFK around 12 noon.

Take the B or Q train to Prospect Park, transfer to the Franklin Ave. Shuttle, get off at last stop Franklin Ave. and transfer to the C subway. Get off at next stop Nostrand Ave., wait for a Rockaway-bound A train (do NOT take the Ozone Park-bound A) to Howard Beach and take Airtrain to terminals. You can also take the F train to Jay St./Borough Hall and transfer to the Rockaway-bound A train.

I woukd like to know how I would get from JFK terminal 4 to 152 West 26th street (Fashion 26A Wyndham Hotel)via bus or train after 10pm the 4 august 2010. thank you very much.

by train :
take Airtrain to Jamaica Station and then subway E; get off at 23rd street stop. Walk 1 block east on W23rd street and make left ,then three blocks and make right on W26 street; the address should be on your right.
by shuttle:
Go to ground transportation(welcome center ) counter and ask for door-to-door shuttle. If the counter is closed , you can use the self-service phones(dial 18 for Airlink or 29 for Super Shuttle). The shuttle will take you right to your address for $18.50-$25.
