How to Get to JFK Airport by Car

Directions From the East (Long Island):
- Southern State Parkway: Take the Southern State Parkway west until the highway's name changes to the Belt Parkway. Follow the signs for JFK airport at exit 20.
- Long Island Expressway or Northern State: Drive west on the Long Island Expressway (L.I.E.) to the Cross Island Parkway and go south to the Southern State Parkway/Belt Parkway. Then drive west to exit 20 for JFK Airport.

From the South:

- Drive north on the NJ Turnpike to Exit 13 for the Goethals Bridge (Tolls $8.00), and follow to the Staten Island Expressway (I-278) to the Verrazano Bridge ($11.00 for passenger vehicles, one-way charge). Exit the bridge to take the Belt Parkway east. At exit 19 take the Nassau Expressway (NY-878), which leads directly to the airport.

From the West:

- Via I-78: Travel east on I-78 to the New Jersey Turnpike south to Exit 13. Cross the Goethals Bridge (Tolls $8.00 from NJ to Staten Island) to the to the Staten Island Expressway (I-278) to the Verrazano Bridge ($11.00 for passenger vehicles, one-way charge). Take the Belt Parkway from the Verrazano Bridge which will take you to Kennedy Airport.
- Via I-80/I-280: Head east on I-80 to I-280 east to the New Jersey Turnpike south. Cross the Goethals Bridge (Tolls $8.00 from NJ to Staten Island) to the to the Staten Island Expressway (I-278) to the Verrazano Bridge ($11.00 for passenger vehicles, one-way charge). Take the Belt Parkway from the Verrazano Bridge which will take you to Kennedy Airport.

From Up-State New York, Massachusetts & Connecticut:

- Head south on the Thruway-Major Deegan Expressway to the Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95). Take the Cross Bronx Expressway east to I-678. Follow I-678 south across the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge (Toll $5.50) to the Van Wyck Expressway south. The Van Wyck will lead directly to Kennedy Airport.
- Take I-95 south to the Bruckner Expressway. Take the exit for the I-678 (Hutchinson River Parkway) and follow it across the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge (Toll $5.50) to the Van Wyck Expressway which leads directly to Kennedy Airport.
- Head south on I-684 to the Hutchinson River Parkway (I-678). Follow the Hutchinson River Parkway south across the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge (Toll $5.50) and to the Van Wyck Expressway (I-678) which will lead directly to the airport.

Hi all
first time to NewYork and on areally tight budget. Need to get from JFK to above area as cheap as poosible...HELP!

JFK to 306 W 94th Street
Take Airtrain to Howard Beach Station($5) then subway A to Columbus Circle and then transfer to line 1,2 or 3 to West 96 Street stop($2.25).

WHATS THE BEST WAY TO GET TO WESSEX PLACE PRINCETON NEW JERSEY 08540 FROM JFK.

You may want to explore the shuttle service called State Shuttle - it goes from JFK to Princeton,NJ(with a stopover at Newark Airport). You can book it at Welcome Center or Ground Transportation counter.

How to get to American Airlines Terminal, I am arriving to JFK from Kuwait via London on Kuwait Airways Nov. 11th at 6:00 PM and my connection American Airlines flight No. 4447 is @ 9:15 PM to Washington D.C.
How to get to American Airlines Terminal and how long it takes.

American is at terminal 8; take AirTrain from your arrival terminal to terminal 8 which only take a few minutes.

Take NJ Transit train from Newark-Penn Station to New York-Penn Station, transfer to either E subway to Sutphin Blvd/JFK or LIRR to Jamaica, transfer to AirTrain to all terminals.

I am planning to be arriving at JFK airport on Feb. 5 at about 5:30 pm and will travel to Hartsdale, New York. Could you please provide me the detailed planning via the Public Transportation such as Subways, Trains or Bus ???

Metro North-Harlem Line train from Grand Central Station stops at Hartsdale. Take NYAS express bus from all terminals to Grand Central ($15), or you can take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to E subway to Lexington/53rd and transfer to the downtown #6 subway to 42nd/Grand Central ($7.25).

I NEED TO FIND OUT HOW TO GET FROM JFK TO THE HYATT PLACE - GARDEN CITY, NY ON THE TRAIN OR SUBWAYS.

Take AirTrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to Long Island Railroad-Hempstead Branch train to Garden City. Check with hotel if the have shuttle service from the train station.

Taxi is direct, cost is $45+tolls+tip. By subway/AirTrain ($7.25); take Airtrain from T4 to Howard Beach Station. Take the inbound A subway to Broadway Junction, transfer to the inbound L subway to 3rd Ave/14th St. Your hotel is a half block east on 14th St.

Could you please let me know, once I get in JFK, how can I go to Stamford, CO (Summer Street)
