-Yellow cab
The estimated fare is $95.50 using the rate in NY. The trip is 32.2 mi and will take 50 mins. This includes a 15% tip.
-shuttle
Look for it at the Welcome Center counter. There are two companies that might take you to White Plains - Connecticut Limo and Prime Time . Both charging around $50 for the trip.
-public transportation
Take Airtrain to Jamaica Station, then subway E to Lexington Ave , then Subway 6 to Grand Central.
At Grand Central take Metro North train to White Plains.
Cost of the trip - ~$15.

I think the shuttle option might be the best, given the late hour. Would you know if they will still be open at 11:30pm~ish? On their site they say that they close at 11:30pm, but I am wondering if they might wait for me if I pre-book...

My daughter will be traveling from India in the 1st week of Aug to JFK by AI-101 (Scheduled time of arrival is 06:00 am). She is to catch the connecting AA-4654 flights from LGA to Atlanta which is scheduled to depart at 09:50 am.

1)Can we receive directions and list of what to do from the moment arrives to the moment departures?

2)Since she will arrive 06:00 am and depart again at 09:50 am, will she make it on time through immigration and luggage lines?

I'll appreciate receiving any information you have and tips to pass this trip easily.

1.)This is what she has to do :
-clearing immigration
-picking up the bags(if she has any)
-clearing US customs
-take either taxi(~$30) or NYAS express bus($15) - both of them located in front of the terminal - to LGA.

2.) She has time to connect to her LGA flight.

Hi there! I will be flying back from Ireland and stopping off at JFK - are there smoking areas in the airport or is it outside only? If only outside - what are the chances of a quick run in and out through security? My layover is a little over 2 hours. THANKS!

The only smoking area at JFK is outside of the building.
Two hours is a lot of time and you can go in and out of security for smoke. Don't forget to take the boarding pass and ID with you since you will need it upon entering security.

During your layover time you can exit the airport, go to a hotel or visit the city - you are not confined to the airport.

Hello There,

We have old people with us and would like to arrive earlier to check in and security clearance. Our flight is domestic flight from JFK to Washington DC.

Please advice if there is any limitation on time ( earliest ) when we can clear the security. I understand the minimum adviced time for a domestic flight is 2 hours.. but I want to know earliest time ( say 5-6 hours ) before scheduled departure when the checkin is allowed.

You have no problem doing that - as long as the flight is on the same day and you have a boarding pass ,you can enter security.

Hi, we are arriving at JFK next friday at 2:15 pm. We are going to Roosevelt Hotel (45 E 45th St, New York 10017). Google instructions are : Walk to JFK Terminal 8 Station, Light rail to Jamaica Station, Subway - E - to WORLD TRADE CENTER, Subway - S - to GRAND CEN. SHUTTLE TK-1. Does exist faster/cheaper way, or this one is right, please ? Thank you very much.

It does not sound right.
You can take Airtrain from any terminal at JFK to Jamaica Station. There, take subway E to Lexington Ave and then subway line 6(direction downtown); get off next stop- Grand Central.
Walk east on E42 street and make left on Lexington Ave - the hotel is three blocks away on the intersection of Lexington Ave and E45th street.
