Here is the statement on "parking at jfk-airport.net parking"
" $18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours"
And this is for the official Port Authority Long Term parking lot.

Early checkout – late flight
Hello,
We're taking an international flight from terminal 4 at 7 pm but my hotel checkout is at 1 pm and they can't hold our luggage. I was told the earliest we could check-in at the airport is 4 hours prior to flight. Is there a café or waiting area we could stay at until check-in?

Which airline are you flying on? Some of the airlines let you check in as early as 24 hours in advance.
There is a huge food court on the third floor of T4 where you can stay and wait.

El-Al opens its counters 4 hours prior to departure time . Food court is accessible to anybody entering T4(it is not behind security).

Delta to Virgin-Atlantic

Due to change of flight time by Delta, now we only have 3 hrs. to pick up bags in Terminal 2 and get to Virgin-Atlantic's baggage drop-off in Terminal 3 by 1 hour before flight. What is the fastest and easiest way to get from one to the other, will a skycap do this and if the arriving Delta plane is late, what is the minimum time I can accomplish this (on average) with a 3:08pm arrival at JFK?

VA is located at T4, not T3.Take Airtrain between T2 and T4(it is 10-15 min with walking to/from Airtrain station).
Some of the skycaps will do that.
As long as you are at VA 1 hour prior to departure time you will be OK.
Explore the option of Delta(at your origin) checking all your bags through so you don't have to pick them up at JFK.

Try to get a private car - it will cost you a little more than a regular taxi and it will accommodate 5 people as well. Book the car at ground transportation center.

Web check in, duty free shops, security
I am leaving for Jamaica early morning, 6 a.m flight. If I check in online, when is the latest I can arrive at JFK? Are duty free shops open at 5 in the mornings? Do I have to wait in line to get my bags checked?
It depends on the airline ,
It depends on the airline , but most of them still require to be at the terminal at least 1.5-2 hours in advance when you are checked on line. You still have to wait on the line(even not that bigger) to drop off your bags. I doubt it that any duty free are open that early.
Re: Duty Free and 6am flight
We have the same dilemna as our flight leaves @ 6am from Terminal 4. According to JFK's website there are 2 duty free shops in terminal 4 both of which open at 5am. My question is does anyone know the number to contact the duty free shops in terminal 4 directly to confirm and if not, what is the cut off time for purchashing from duty free prior to our 6am flight departure. Last time we had a 45 min layover in Atlanta but our flight landed late leaving us with little time for our connecting flight and we were told at the duty free shop there wasn't enough time for us to make a purchase.
