I am traveling to Jfk on AA flight and I will get to JFK late at night and my connecting flight to Toronto is only the next morning. Could you suggest where I could go to a hotel or if are any lounges where I could find a place in the airport to wait for my connecting flight.
I appreciate

The only open terminal 24/7 at JFK Airport is terminal 4. It has some coffee and snack shops.

The hotels around JFK are pricey($100 and up), the lounges are closed during the night.
Terminal 4 is the only terminal that is open overnight.

I will be flying HEL-JFK-SFO and have 2hrs 5 mins exchange time. Is that enough so that I will make it to the flight to SFO, if I have luggage and need to go through the immigration and customs as well?
thank you in advance!

2 hours and 5 minutes is a good time frame. Upon arrival in the U.S you will clear U.S Customs and immigration and security prior to your second flight.

I'm flying from Milano to JFK next wednesday and I'll have 1 hour and 20 minutes to catch my next flight to Puerto Rico (I'll arrive and leave from Terminal 8). Will that be enough time? Shall I pass through the USA custom? I'll just have my hand baggage with me. Thank you.

Extremely tight time frame. Upon arrival in U.S you will clear Customs and Immigration. The same terminal when you arrive and depart will be good for you.Just look for the gate number on your boarding pass when you get to JFK Airport.

It will be kind of tight for you since you have to pass the immigration and customs at JFK. Good new is that you don't have to wait for the bags and that will be a BIG plus. You should be fine with that time frame.

I am scheduled to arrive at JFK On Thurs May 26, 2011 at 5:40 am on an LY international flight, Terminal 3. connecting flight to Boston MA at 8:50, departing from Terminal 8. What are transportation arrangements between terminals? Will I have enough time, considering customs, etc. to make this flight to Boston?

Yes 3 hours is a good time frame. Use air train to transfer between terminal 3 and 8.

We're flying HEL-JFK-MIA in April and the airline's suggesting an AA flight from JFK that leaves only 1h40mins after our arrival in JFK and we have to go through immigration & customs. The connecting flight leaves from the same terminal, but I have serious doubts about whether we'd be able to make it. Would you suggest booking a later AA flight to Miami?

Your time frame is good as long your first flight is on time.

Your time frame is Ok and you will make it as long as your first flight is on time.

Due to a change in flight schedules, I will be flying in from San Juan in June, on American Airlines they have only given us a 35 minute layover -- for our connecting flight to Cleveland. From the map it looks as if we arrive/depart from the same terminal, and we should have plenty of time. Is that correct, or will we have to attempt to cross the entire airport in 35 minutes? The connecting flight is also American Airlines (operated by American Eagle).

Your time frame is tight and yes you will arrive and depart from the same terminal.
