I am flying into JFK on Sept. 20th. I need to get to Newark New Jersey. How do I get there using subway/rail??

Take AirTrain to Jamaica Station. that should be free. Take Subway to Grand Central. That should be $2. Get on New Haven Bound train (metro north) That i think is at least $20 but depends on if you travel during peak times. From this point on, i'm not too sure. I believe Amtrak stops at the New Haven station but i don't know if it stops in Hartford. Hope that helps!

metro north only goes as far as new haven. there is an amtrak train that goes from new haven to hartford, but only a few times a day, so check the schedules. It's probably easiest to take amtrak directly from new york - also becuase metro north leaves from grand central while amtrak leaves from Penn station, and the trains you would get from JFK (A, E, or LIRR) all go to Penn station and not grand central.

I AM LEAVING OUT OF JFK ON DELTA FROM NEW YORK TO CHARLOTTE WOULD YOU KNOW TERMINAL I WOULD GET OFF ON TRAIN THANKS

i never been to jfk by my self and i am planing to get there by train but from what i was told the train only get me to the train station and from there i dont know what to take to get to my flight. so if you can help me that will be good. am trying to get to terminal 4

Boston to New York. You can take the train AMTRAK from South Station Boston ($90.00?) to NY Penn Station. From there you can take the LIRR (Long Island Railroad) to Jamaica Station, pick up the AirTrain to JFK and your airline. Total cost per person is about $125.00 but you should allow 6 hours.

We have a flight from newyork jfk but we have to go from boston massachusetts to newyork to catch taht flight the rent a car option and a connecting flight option from boston to ny jfk is very expensive how can i get to newyork jfk airport is there any cheap way to get there from boston massachusetts

What is the best way to get to JFK Airport from Port Authority (Greyhound Bus station). And then to the terminal 8 ?

To get to both the Bound Brook and Bridgewater stations, your friend will have to take a NJTransit train on the Raritan Valley Line. From NY Penn Station he would have to take either a NJT train to Newark, or the PATH train to Newark. From Newark, they can catch the Raritan Valley line. The Bound Brook Station is right on Main street in Bound Brook, however the Bridgewater stop is kind of behind the Commerce Patriots Baseball Stadium (there is a target across the street).
