What train or subway do I take to go to W 59th street (Columbus Circle) next to Central Park from JFK airport?
Hi,
I am arriving during the day into JFK and need to get on Subway 2 or 3 and get off at 96th Street as my hotel is close to there. However my return to JFK will be at 9pm at night...so is this trip possible on public transport(from 96th Street to JFK)
Any help would be apprecaited..
Perhaps I should just book a shuttle service...what do you think?
You can take the 4-5 and then transfer into the A to go to Howard Beach. In all stations you are able to see a big map with the deatil of transfer between routes
First also the A subway can take you over 96th st. For the return use the A subway to howard beach. the true is that is much more cheap doing this way instead of shuttle
Hi! I am wondering if someone could tell me
1.How to get to Port Authority Bus station from JFK. My hotel is very close to there but the thing is my flight arrives at JFK at late night around 11pm. So:
2.Is it safe to travel around with two big luggages or I'd better stay at the airport overnight and wait till the morning.
3.Does the Airtrain run all the time 24hrs?
Thanks alot!!!
1.- Subway A will take you to the 42th st port authority bus station. The advantaje is that you take the A from the Airtrain howard beach station
2.- Yes, as a visitor I can say it
3.- yes
