Hi.
I'm arriving in JFK with Swiss air august 6, about 2.45 pm, and need to get to West 97th street. What is the best way to get there? Bus or train?? And how long does it take?
Thanks.
If it can help you, some days ago I went from 47th street to JFK by subway (A line) and connecting with the airtrain service at Howard Beach station. It took me about 90 minutes and two line transfers to get there with the luggage up and downstairs. In NY subway (subway in Calcutta must be more developped than that in NY)escalators or lifts are non existing. I arrived to JFK exhausted before taking a 7 hour flight but the best was the price, only 7 dollars (5 airtrain plus 2 subway)compared to the 45 dollar flat taxi fare.
About the bus, I have no idea but expect it to be more expensive and to stand heavy traffic jams in the way through Brooklyn and Queens.
If you travel with more people to share the cost, think about the taxi option, a few more dollars will be worth it.
I'll need to get to JFK from Huntington Station in LI. I remember passing the LIRR. If I take the LIRR, what stop to get off and how do I access the airtrain?
We will be flying into JFK and need to get to Penn Station to catch amtrak to DC. We are wondering the best way to do so and what the cost would be.
Take the airtrain into howard beach. Over there you will take the A train that stops on 34th st = Penn St. Total cost $7usd. ($5 airtrain + $2 subway) Consider (60-90 minutes)
Hello,
I'll be arriving at JFK monday 30 June and have to go to West 31st Street. Should I take the Air train to Jamaica Staion and take the E train or is it faster to go to Howard Beach and take the A train
Cheers,
Riemer
i am flying into jfk from ohare on june 26 landing in terminal 3 and need to get to terminal 4 for a international flight to israel. should i take the tram or walk. i am also on a time crunch
If you are not flying, grab a cab, take the train (Amtrak) to Pen Station. E train to Jamaica station then Airtram to JFK. This could take a few hours.
I need to pick up my brother who is coming into JFK from PR. I am in Bucks County, PA and can pick him up from either Trenton or Philly. What is the best way that he can get here??? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Tomorrow 2 days later i'll be in NY.(JFK airport)My question is what is the quickest and cheapest way to go Manhattan is it airtrain or bus?If i get there by a taxi what will i pay?
Please tell me,
The best way from JFK to Stony Brook (Long Island)....?
We, 7 people, will arrive at 9:15pm at JFK.
Thanks
Your best bet would be to take the air train to Jamaica and then catch a train to Stony Brook. The train arrives at the back of Stony Brook University and is within walking distance of the town. There are also cabs there.
