hey! same exact situation here. Same flight on the same day.
Called Air China and they told us to call an agency called NYC ITEX because now they are in charge of delivering the bags. I talked to a man named Yazi. Super nice rep trying to organize this chaos. Give them a call and tell them your luggage number at 718-244-8790.

When we arrived at JFK yesterday, we were informed that most international flights for today were being canceled as well as they were still trying to clear some runways of snow. That being said, I am not 100% sure what the outcome of your flight is but they seemed pretty confident that nobody would be leaving before noon today and possibly until tomorrow morning. This has been an absolute nightmare and the people there (less a few) are no help. The people at the desk wouldn't even reschedule tickets they just gave the 1800 numbers (which are no help either) and sent us on our way.

I am trying to contact the Aeroflot office at the number above, but no one is answering (even though it says office hours are MF 9-5). Is anyone actually at the Aeroflot desk in the Terminal? Is there any other contact number I can use? The 24 call center was no help. I need to pay a change fee related to the weather problems, so that my new ticket can be confirmed and so that the old one will not be canceled.

Thanks!

If I was you I would leave super early tonight by 8PM just to be on a safe side. In the best case you will arrive at the airport early.Keep in mind also that flight arrival might be delayed due to heavy snow and blizzard conditions.
