I took the flight CI 011 from JFK to TPE. I'm back in Taipei after 25 hours; however, the luggages are not back to TPE. The luggages from two flights before me have also not left JFK as well. What's the status on luggage in Terminal 1 right now? Are there people moving the luggages?

i work at jfk but for another airlines... most of the bags are being sent... yesterday they cleared of the piles of bags that were not yet scanned.. i suggest you make a report if you did not make one.. but getting in contact with the airlines would be a waste of time since everyone is trying to clear up bags no one is sitting answering phones.. your bags should be arriving though.. the airline i work for already sent out all the bags that were left behind

I was on flight AT 201 from JFK(Royal Air Maroc) on Dec 28 that was scheduled for 5:45 pm and left about 11 pm to connect in Casablanca for a flight to Paris on Air France #2497 Dec 29. Of course we missed the Paris connection, spent the whole day in Casablanca airport, finally getting to Paris 9pm Dec 29. No luggage for about 12 of us with that connection. Back home now (Jan 4), still no luggage. As far as I can tell you have to file the report with the airline itself. I filed with Air France in Paris, but have not been able to get anyone at Air Maroc. They do not have a place at Paris airport, their office in Paris was closed, the desk at JFK wasn't open when I went back there. They open there at 1 pm. There were bags stacked up all dated Dec 17- Dec 27, none yet for later dates. I sent an email through their web site, but who knows if anyone reads those. I gues going back to JFK after 1 pm is the only other option.

first you should have made a claim when you arrived for your bag.. calling jfk directly is not going to help, all they will say is to call air france directly.. your luggage should be arriving bc all the airlines are trying to send out the bags with their flights..tsa and allstate the baggage services were short, everything was backed up

We were supposed to leave on Air France 009 on 12/27 at 11:30pm. When we got to the airport at 7pm to queue in for check-in, the line was huge. So we waited, and waited and waited. 10 hours later, the flight gets delayed to 3:30am and we stil haven't checked in. Finally we get to the check-in counter at around 5am and we are told that one of my tickets doesn't have a seat assigned, even though it clearly did on the confirmation. We finally sort out this bit and are told that the flight is still scheduled but they don't have a gate because our plane is at terminal 4 and has to be towed to terminal 1 and no ETA fro that either. We go to the gate area. 24 hours later there is still no information, I don't even know if the flight is leaving today or tomorrow. We left the airport - does anyone have any information on flight AF 009 that was later known as AF 009B that was supposed to depart on 12/27 @ 23:30?
