information on staying in terminal overnight
I arrive from Warsaw on Saturday night at 8:50 pm on LOT airlines. My domestic flight leaves to Atlanta on Delta the next morning, Sunday at 6 am. Can I stay overnight in the international terminal and then go to the terminal at 5 am for my domestic flight? I won't have checked luggage. Would immigration be open for me to get out of the international terminal at that time in the morning?
Time between T3-T1
Hi, I'm arriving with Delta from Miami to JFK at 15:29 to T1 and my next flight is with Delta to Rome at 17:20 from T3. I have 1h51m to connect from one flight to another (T3-T1). Is this enough? Is that long the customs clearance to get out of USA? I hope to check the luggage all the way so I'll only have some hand baggage.
Thank You,
E

Hi, I am arriving by Aeroflot from Moscow to Terminal 1 on March 23 at 6:00PM and then I have a connecting JetBlue flight at 9:20PM to Orlando. The problem is that Aeroflot could not send my luggage all the way to Orlando, so I have to go through customs at JFK, pick up my luggage and pass through security before I get to terminal 7 via Air Tran. Is it realistic to fit this all in 3h20m?

Hi, I have a question on the
Hi, I have a question on the custom clearance at Terminal 1:
I have 2 flights booked at 2 differents moments and operated by 2 differents airline companies and they are connected at JFK airport.
The first flight arrived in JFK at terminal 1, the 2nd flight departure (just few hours after, within the same day) is also at terminal 1. Is this case considered as a "transit"? Do I need to go through customer clearance in this case? (I don't have any luggage with me, except hand luggage)
It's important to me to know it, because I don't need to ask for a visa if it's a transit, but if it's not then I need to ask for a visa

Aeroflot to Delta
I will arrive to JFK by Aeroflot from Moscow and connect to Delta flight to San Francisco. Where I have to pass customs: in JFK or SFO? Is luggage transferred between flights in JFK? It seems that I need to get from T1 to T2: can I walk or need to take shuttle or air train?
In reply to Aeroflot to Delta by George Y (not verified)
You will clear Customs at
You will clear Customs at JFK airport. You can ask your luggage to be transferred all the way to SFO but you still have to pick it up yourself and check it through U.S Customs at JFK. Use air train to transfer between t1 and t2. It should be a pretty short ride figure around 5 to 10 minutes.
