Hi

I am travelling from Manchester UK, landing at JFK (T1) and then flying to Las Vegas (T8). What is the best way to travel between terminals and how long will it take? I am traveling with AA on both flights - will they check my bags all the way through to LV in Manchester? Also, we have quite a long wait at JFK - is there anywhere to have a drink/food?

Hi, I knew that my friend's flight of China airline has already landed at 1.30 pm. However, right now, he hasn't reached my place in manhattan yet, and I can't reach him on phone. How can I check if he gets held up by the immigration or something? Or is it just heavy traffic at the airport?

Do you you believe the airport will be closed on Sunday around 2pm? I will be here to pick up a student at that time but i do not know if i can get into the airport because of the storm. If the airport is flooded, will you close the airport? What is the best way to find out? Thank you for your help.

Great to find this place could ask my question.

Here is my case:
I am living in Richmond, VA. We plan to have my Mom to visit us from China. She plans to take MU587 from Shanghai to JFK which will arrive in JFK Terminal 3. I will take a DL3807 to go to JFK at the same day to pick her up. My flight will reach terminal 3.

My question is that am i able to enter terminal 1? Which is the first place i could see my mom? Since this is the first time for me and mom @JFK. Please advise. Thanks in advance!

Hello,

I will arrive at T1 on Friday at 1:45) p.m. and have a connecting flight from T7 (US to PHX) at 4:20.

Will there be enough time for deboarding, immigration, customs, re-check-in and getting to T7? (2:35 hrs)

Can I re check in right after customs at T1 or do I have to get to T7?

And what`s the best way to get from T1 to T7?

THX in advance for your replies!!!
