I need to go to Terminal 4 after returning the car rental at Hertz. With 5 check-in luggages and family with kids, what is the best option out of two below:
1. Drop family and luggage at Terminal 4, return the rental, use AirTrain and come back to Terminal 4 ?
2. First drop the rental, take AirTrain with family and luggages (do we get luggage carts at the rental to carry luggages into AirTrain) ?

It will be around 9PM when I will be ready to pick up my rental car.
However most companies state they are only open until 5 or 6PM. How do I get a rental car late in the evening?

I`m from Germany and planning a trip to the states. I would like to rent a car at the jfk airport and give it back in chicago. Does anybody know if it is possible to cross the border to canada because I would like to visit some frinds in toronto for a day as well.

My husband and I are arriving into JFK from London Heathrow with our 2 dogs (in plastic airline crates) and 4 large suitcases plus hand luggage. We don't want to get separated - is there a way we can all get to the car rental area? Can dogs get on the train (in or out of crates)? Or is it possible to be collected by a rental company or BIG taxi outside terminal building?

My wife and I returned a car to Avis Thursday afternoon before flying back to Europe.
