Hi everyone.
Could anybody advice
- How long does it take to get from the Terminal 8 to the Terminal 1 and what is the fastest way?
- What is the fastest way to get from the JFK to La Guardia airport?
I recall that there is airport bus service to JFK just across the street from the Grand Central entrance.
Does anyone know what is the best way to get from grand central on 42th street to the JFK airport?
i want to take airtrain to meet my brothet coming to jfk airport at terminal 4 and i wonder if we can use the airtrain back to newyork
ha ha...about to do this myself, but from brooklyn.
depending where on canal street you are....take the A, C or E subway (6th Av) UPTOWN or the 1 (7th Av) to 34 St. and take and LIRR train there to Jamaica. At Jamaica you can connect to the Air Train to JFK. Alternatively, you can tke the A train Downtown into Brooklyn/Queens to Howard Beach OR the E train UPTOWN to Sutphin Ave I believe (check this). You can connect at Howard Beach or Sutphin also to the AirTrain. Going with the LRR is quicker but is a few dollars more expensive and requires more connections but you will hang outside less. The other way is slower but cheaper.
can someone tell me where i can get the transit schedule for Jamaica hub to JFK terminals or note estimated times it runs? i.e. every 15 min, 30 min? does the schedule vary by day/night? thanks!
Sue if you need to go from Jamaica to JFK you do not need a schedule. The AirTran runs under every 5 minutes from Jamaica to all terminals at JFK.
What is the best way to get from JFK to Hotel Pennsylvania for two people traveling lightly? Can we catch the subway to Penn Station near JFK?
Yes, look for and take AirTrain to the subway, JFK Airport stop of the A Train. Take the A Train towards Manhattan, get off at 34th St./Penn Station stop.
this site is a mess. there is no indication on how to get from one terminal to the other and how to get to downtown Manhattan the most efficent way.
the fastest way
