No, you don't have to clear security again as long as you don't leave the building. There are duty free shops available inside the terminal.

Definitely Terminal 8 is the best place to meet. By the coffee shop on the first floor.

Hi I'm due to arrive from Manchester & only have 1hr 15 mins to clear US immigration. Do you know how long it takes roughly? I'll be on AA211 switching to AA4146 - I think they are both T8 - please do you have any tips to try to make that connection? Thanks

Your connection time is VERY tight so pray that your flight from Manchester arrives on-time (early is better!). Customs/Immigration normally takes 30-45 minutes on a good day, then you'll need to clear security again for your connecting departure.

What is the most efficient way to get to Metro North Harlem station in the city (125th east at Park)

I'm traveling by myself with carry on luggage. Don't wish to pay the $45 taxi fee.

Cheapest is by Airtrain/subway: take Airtrain to Jamaica Station, take E subway to 53rd St./Lexington Ave., transfer to the downtown #6 to 42nd St./Grand Central and take the Metro North-Harlem line to 125th St. Total cost is about $20.

hi,
i will be arriving from Delhi to jfk on 18th august by airindia flight at 6 o' clock in the morning.it's coming on terminal T4 i guess. next I have a flight to columbus at 15:10 from terminal T8 operated by american eagles.Can you help me after the immigration and all the custom checks how i will be able to go to terminal T8 from T4?And also this is my first time to JFK. so it will be great if you can tell me regarding that issue.Hope to get your reply soon.

GO TO THE THIRD FLOOR AT T4 AND THERE TAKE THE FIRST TRAN THAT ARRIVES, REGARDLESS OF THE SIDE/TRACK. ALL THE TRAINS ARE GOING TO T8 WHICH IS THREE STOPS AWAY FROM T4.

How much time will I need between flights to transfer from terminal 4 from an Aer Lingus flight (I will clear immigration in Dublin) to an American Airlines Flight (terminal 8)?

Since you do not have to go through customs at JFK I'd say at least one hour between flights if Aer Lingus can issue you both boarding passes and check your bags from Dublin through to your final destination on AA. If not you'll need to collect your bags and take Airtrain from T4 to T8 and check-in at American which will require additional time between flights.

Hey, I'm flying into New York with Delta, which is terminal 3, and I'm flying out with AirBerlin, which says it's like terminal 8/9. I'm 16 and I have never been to JFK let alone fly by myself, can you tell me the easiest way to get from Terminal 3 to Terminal 8/9?

Arriving from London with BA439 on 31st of July at 22:35 hrs we will have to wait untill 07:15 hrs before proceeding to San Francisco with AA059. Following questions about terminal 8:
1. Any chance of finding a decent rest area or lounge for a family of 4 (wife and two adolescent kids)?
2. WiFi available in terminal 8?
