The maps that you are using in this web site are way outdated(6-10 years back). Would it be possible to change them? A lot of people are getting confused with them. There is very good map at

It wouldn't be impossible to cut and paste the individual terminal's maps into your web site.

Gates
Hi just looking at on online check-in and it gives you a departing gate and arrival gate. It says i am arriving at terminal 8 at gate 39 but i can't seem to find gate 39 on the map any ideas?

- disembark the plane;
- go through immigration
- pick up your bags
- go through customs
- recheck your bags at connecting flights counter
- go to the third floor and go through security
- look for the gate for the flight to BOS.

Forgot to register at my departure at terminal 8
What should I do if i forgot to register at customs in my departure in Terminal 8. I'm afraid I can't re-enter US in the future as one of my friend told that I need to check with you.

If you have been asked to register with immigration(INS) at the time of departure and you failed to do so - it may lead to further complications when you decide to re-enter USA.

hi! we are a family of 4 ,arive to terminal 4 at 15:20 . we continue our flight from terminal 8 at 22:15.how much time is from terminal 4 to 8?
we arrive from el-al and continue with american airline.

My friend is traveling from India to JFK
Her Itineray is:
9W 226 Q 18JUL BRU JFK 1005 1215
I beleive 9W Jet airways is trminal 8
She has to catch a Delta flight from terminal 3
DL 193 Q 18JUL JFK ATL 1515 1810.
I have couple of questions:
1.Does she have to go through immigration on terminal 8 itself before she catches flight to atlanta?
2.What is a usual wait time for Immigration process.
3.How she get to terminal 3 to catch connecting Delta flight,how long does it take?
3.Does she have to pick up her bags from terminal 8 and check in again in terminal 3 or it will be auto checked-in in her connecting flight?

2. It takes between 30-50 min.
3. She has to take Airtrain on the second floor of T8, on track 2 to T3.
4. She has to pick up the bags and go through customs at T8 and then she can either:
- re-check the bags at Jet Airways connecting flights counter at T8 or
- re-check her bags at T3 with Delta.
Travel from SFO to Paris on American via JFK
My daughter is traveling from SFO to JFK and then changing planes for the JFK to Paris leg of her trip. She appears to be arriving and departing from JFK via Terminal 8 but as she arrives on a domestic flight and will leave on an international flight does she go through security again if she stays in the terminal? She has 1 and a half hours between flights is that enough.
