I am flying from Baltimore to JFK on American Eagle; then from JFK to Port-au-Prince. Will I remain in the same terminal and only change gates?

Thank you,

I land at Terminal 1 at 3:15 pm and have a connection flight at Terminal 8 at 5:15 pm. Are two hours enough? What is the fastest way to get from Terminal 1 to Terminal 8? Thank you in advance! Phil

AirTrain JFK: The easiest way to get around Kennedy International Airport.

Welcome to NYC and enjoy

We'll arrive at 12.45 in Terminal 8 at november 26th and will be leaving at 16.30 on our way to Cancun also in Terminal 8. Is there any smoking area at terminal 8? And are we allowed to leave the airport and come back at check-in time?
Thanks for your answer!

This diagram for American Airlines is over three years old. It may be time to update this site.

Dear JFK IA staff member,

I will arrive in New york from Haiti on terminal 8 at 7h25 PM.

I have to catch a flight to Cairo at terminal 3 which departs at 10hPM. What should I do to get the train or bus to get there ? It looks that I have to go to the upper floor ?

Please, advise

Hi, I have two questions:
1. Is this information about terminal 8 correct? are the airlines listed really the airlines operating to/from this terminal? have seen some comments that suggest that information about some of the terminals is old and outdated.
2. Is 1h 30min enough time to transfer between two different airlines on two separate tickets, but within the same terminal?

Hi there, i would like to ask what is the procedure is you have a connecting flight in JFK, but you do not have the boarding pass for the flight, because the airline is not code-share one, and someone, somehow must check you in order to procced to the gate. You can not just check you in by yourself because you do not have the documents for the US Custom, so the only chance must be the Transit check-in that only some of the EURO ports have, as far as i know. Does the JFK have it as well?

2hrs is enough to change a flight even though u need to get to another terminal.

i wll be arriving jfk terminal 4 by Qatar airways.and for my next flight only 2hrs duration is thr.if i miss my next fliht.then what is the procedure for getting next one?

I will be arriving at Terminal4 by Qatar Airways international flight.I have my connecting flight from Terminal8 American Airlines to dallas.I will be travelling for the first time so please tell me how should I go from term4 to 8 in 2 hrs time?I will have immigration & collection of luggage too. Please help!

Here is what u shud do...

--> Once you get out from the plane, spend very less time refreshing and head to the immigration as the queue could very long.
--> Once you complete the immigration head to the baggage carousel and head to the customs.
--> After clearing customs head to your airlines (Qatar airways in ur case) and hand over your luggage for check in. They will check in for your flight to Dallas.
--> Head to the upper level for the air train and that will take you to terminal 8. This is the fastest. You have a airtrain every 4 mins i Guess.
--> Remember you just have 2 hours so you make it as fast as possible.
