I am arriving at JFK airport at 6++pm and need to get to Hyatt Place @ Princeton New Jersey. What is my options of going there? Bus/Airtrain system/subway? and how? Thanks.

Train: NYAS bus ($15, 1 hr.) to Penn Station or Airtrain to Jamaica station then E subway ($7.25, 1+ hrs) or LIRR ($13, 20-30 min) to Penn Station then NJ Transit to Princeton or Princeton Junction whichever stop is closest to your hotel.
Bus: NYAS bus to Port Authority Bus Terminal or E subway to 42nd St/Port Authority, bus to Princeton.
I'd recommend the train; cheaper, more frequency and less travel time.

What is the fastest way to get from JFK to Newark aeroport, I have only 2 and a half hours between flights. I arrive to JFK at 5:05 and my flight from Newark is at 7:30. Plus this time includes my immigration and baggage.
Thank you for the answer.

Take a taxi - yellow cab will charge you on the meter and will cost you about $80-$100.

When I arrived at one of the terminals, is it free to take the airtrain to Federal Circle or is it 5$?
Thank you for your answer!

Airtrain is free between terminals and to/from Federal Circle. You only pay $5 if you enter/exit at Howard Beach or Jamaica.

Hi i have a friend coming from JFK to Stony Brook. I have a hard time getting directions for him to get here using the Air Train to Stony Brook Train station. could you help please.
Thanks
Sean.

He should take Airtrain to Jamaica LIRR. Some trains will require a transfer at Huntington to continue to Stony Brook. LIRR fares and schedules can be found online at http://lirr42.mta.info/sfweb/faces/index.jspx

I'm taking Amtrak into Penn Station first and will have two big luggage with me. Which will be more convenient for me to JFK with the luggage? LIRR or Subway? thanks.

Definitely LIRR as the trains have overhead racks for your luggage. Subway does not.

hi
do you know if I can buy already a seven day subway travel card (cost 27$) at JFK?
many thanks
pv

Thanks! So when I take the airtrain to HB or Jamaica, I need first to pay for that journey and will then be able to purchase the seven day subway card
Am I correct to say the part between JFK and Jamaica costs five dollars?
thanks again for the info!

You pay for all when you arrive at HB or Jamaica. There are automated kiosks where you can purchase your subway card and pay for your $5 Airtrain fare. There are also helpful attendants there to assist you.

I believe you'd need to purchase that at one of the subway stations at Howard Beach or Jamaica.

Hi, how safe is it to travel on the metro (specifically E from PortAuthority - Jamaica or Jamaica - PortAuthority) in the evenings after 6 pm. Any specific precautions we need to take? Kindly advice.
