- I saw mention in another post of a connecting flights counter in terminal 7 - is that an option for rechecking bags, or is she better off collecting her checked bags at terminal 7 and taking them with her to terminal 4, then re-checking them there with El Al?
- I saw mention of the Airtrain being across the street from terminal 7. Can she exit at the baggage claim level to catch the Airtrain?

Connecting flights counter is mostly for international arriving passengers - let her check with baggage service office for UA(located right after baggage claim) for possibility of automatic transfer of the bags.
Once she exits the baggage claim, all she has to do is exit the building(she will be on the first floor), cross two streets and take elevator to the third floor where the Airtrain station is located. Then take the train on track 2 and get off at T4.

our flight goes from New York to Frankfurt via London. ( British Airways BA 112 and BA 902, 6.20 pm today) and I'd like to know if there's a problem because of the ash cloude. I tried to contact British Airways, but they only let me talk to a machine, which couldn't help me. Is there a possibility to speak to someone?

Hi. I am arriving by a Delta Flight 30 (Direct flight from Seattle) at 15:20 at Terminal 3, JFK. I need to take an international flight (Jet Airways) to India at 18:20 at Terminal 8. Is this sufficient time to get my luggage, change terminals, pass security and check-in. I understand I need to finish check-in 1.5 hours prior to 18:20.

I would like to ask if the flght for tommorow from JFK to Madrid, Spain (flight IBERIA IB 6250 at 6:00pm) will go on, because I watched news in Europe and they have again that problem with ash cloud. And many airport are already closed, and they said that transatlantic flights(flights to Europe) will go via Greenland to Europe.Four airports in Spain already closed, then Munich airport and others. Is it true or do you have any other informations, that you can tell me. Thanks for reply

I cannot confirm your flight status at the moment. But there are indeed problems with the ash cloud again in several countries across (southern) Europe, including Spain.
As for the rerouting via Greenland. Most flights headed to eastern Europe are indeed rerouted via Greenland, to avoid the ash cloud. But it is not sure if the airports will open any time soon. It might aswell take a day for the cloud to dissapear.
Please contact Iberia about this as soon as possible. First thing you will do this morning is call Iberia. Located at terminal 7, JFK, (800) 772-4642.

Delays
I am frustrated that US Airways book flights to JFK KNOWING that JKF is not going to allow them access to a runway due to construction. US Airways just asks stumped. Trying to leave for 11 hours and US Airways will not offer up a reason for the delays.
Connecting flights
If I arrive at JFK at 8:00 PM on Delta at I believe terminal #3 and have to connect with Virgin Atlantic at terminal #4 for a 10:30 PM flight, is that going to be enough time?
