1. Yellow cab - the price will be on the meter; expect to pay anywhere between $40-$50(for the whole cab), depending on the traffic conditions.
2. Airtrain to Jamaica Station; Subway E to Roosevelt Ave; Subway F to 21 str-Queens Bridge; walk four blocks on 41st street in the direction of the traffic movement; make left on Crescent str - the address is half block away; Cost - $7.25 per person.

Me and my friends arrive at JFK on 26.5., how can we get to the New Jersey's side of Holland Tunnel by public transportation?

Take Airtrain from any terminal on track 1 to Jamaica Station( be careful - on that track there are two alternating trains going to different routes; check the sign above the doors as the train arrives; the red colored sign is Jamaica one). Then take subway line E to the last stop(WTC) and transfer to PATH train for one stop - Exchange Pl.

Thank you for the quick answer, I chek the map of the Path train, and I think that would be better to go off the Path train at Pavonia/Newport station, becouse our hotel is right near the Holland tunnel.Or did I missed something?

You are right - Pavonia/Newport is the closest one to the Holland tunnel. Then you have to take subway E to Penn Station and from there PATH to Pavonia/Newport.

Path don't ride from WTC to Pavonia/Newport?
On Path map is green coloured line.Just wonder?

It is either or - You can take the yellow one(Journal Square Branch) from Penn or green one(Hoboken Branch) from WTC. I think the first one would a little bit faster(even has more stops but it saves you E going all the way down).

hi, my mom is traveling by herself to Europe and making a connection in JFK, she is going to stay overnight...in order to stay in her hotel, the hotel is recommending to take her shuttle at Federal Circle. Is there any charge to get there from the terminal? Thanks,

she has to take Airtrain from the terminal on track 1 to Federal Circle station. The train to that destination is free. The hotel shuttles pick up on the first floor of Federal Circle.

There are piles of comments and sorry if I should have seen the answer to this in there but I can't...

What train do we take from Terminal 4 to Terminal 3 and how long will it take to get to the station, catch the train and get into Terminal 3?

I am trying to book connecting flights but I can't figure out which flight will make the most of our time without leaving us stranded because we didn't have enough time to get to the boarding gate.

You need to take Airtrain(which is located on the third floor of Terminal 4) on track 2 to Terminal 3. It takes no more than 5-10 min (with walking to/from stations). Let me know the flights you have - you may have shorter/faster route(for ex. if you flying with Delta domestic to international).

A family group and I are going to arrive at JFK at 8:00am via JetBlue and traveling to China via Air China at 4:30pm. We are wondering if we could spend some time in Manhattan without jeopardizing our China flight. We can leave our baggage in the storage at terminal#1 and use the Air Trial via Lirr to Manhattan. Is it viable? What would you recommend? Thanks!

If you take into account :
- 1 hour(roughly) to go to the city by Airtrain and LIRR
- 1 hour(roughly) to come back to JFK by Airtrain and LIRR
- to be at JFK at least 3 hours prior to departure of Air China;

You do have time(~3 hours) to spend in the city.

If you are 4 people it is probably worth it to take taxi - it will be a little bit faster.

I arrive Sunday May 23rd at 8AM. Need to get from JFK to Wellington Hotel. What is best route/cheapest route?
Thanks

Hello, I am flying to New York this coming June. I was wondering how would I be able to take the airtrain from JFK to Manhattan. I will be staying at the Pennsylvania Hotel right across from Penn Station off of 7th avenue.
