Terminal 4 Facts and Figures
The $1.4 billion T4 opened in May 2001. It is the cornerstone of a $10.3 billion revitalization program currently underway at JFK.
T4 is a model for air terminal technology for the 21st century.
T4 has signed agreements with approximately 50 airlines representing 40 countries, serving U.S. and overseas destinations around the world.
T4 occupies 165 acres, one of the largest properties of any terminal at JFK and is one of the largest air terminals in North America.
T4 was designed with the infrastructure to process between 10 million - 12 million passengers annually.
T4 operates the only facility at JFK's with 24 hour Customs and Border Protection, 365 days per year.
T4 houses the only internal station for AirTrain, JFK's light rail system connecting all JFK terminals, Long Term parking, Car rental and hotel locations, The NYC subway at Howard Beach and the LIRR at Jamaica Station.
T4 is home to 4 religious chapels- Catholic, Protestant, Jewish and Multi-faith, each with a dedicated Chaplain.

Lost Lugagge
I lost my logagge on last friday, 11-06 on a flight from JFK to Sao Paulo. The airline company is already looking for it, however, there is no news until now. There are many objects with big sentimental value.. I do not know to whom I could turn. The lugagge has 3 tags with my name on it. There is someone on JFK who could help me to find it?

T8 to T4 with infants
We will be arriving at JFK from BOS by AA at T4 and departing to India by AI from T4. I have couple of question:
1. We have a 5hrs layoff but we are traveling with my father who will have wheel chair assistance. Would this layover is sufficient.
2. What we need to do to reach T4 from T8?
3. Do we have to go through the security again at T8(We have infant twins)?
4. Where is AI ticket counter on T8 as I may have to add infants to the ticket at the airport?

1.) The time is sufficient.
2.) Airtrain will take you there in fast and convenient way.
3.) You will go through security at T4.
4.) AI has no counter at T8, only at T4. Speak to AI for the question about the infants. I think you will be able to.

We will be catching flight to India from T4. We are arriving on JFK at T8 by AA. We are arriving around 11:30 and departing at 5:00PM. What we need to do to get to T4. Would there be sufficient time to change the terminals.My father requested wheel chair assistance..would he be helped in reaching to T8. If i need to talk to someone on AI ticket counter, do I need to go through the security again to board the flight to India. We probably need to add infants at JFK..

Connecting from Air India Arrival to AA departure

My Mom is coming from India at 7.10AM in Air India. Her connecting flight to SFO is at 9AM on American Airlines. She will have to go through customs and immigration, will the connection time be sufficient. Where is the baggage drop off, and how to get to American Airlines terminal? Thanks!

connection time JetBlue to South African
What is the expected connection time from a JetBlue domestic arrival (new terminal 5?) to a South African International departure in Terminal 4 (the 11:15am to JNB)? Is it possible to transfer without clearing security again?

connecting flights
hi, Im arriving on Delta from Tokyo at 3pm - im pretty sure that will be Terminal 4 - do I have time to catch a regional Delta flight at 4:35 ? customs etc or should I get the 5:35 on Jet Blue that takes 2 additional hours to arrive at my destination?

It is very close - any slight delay on DL from Tokyo and you may miss the connection. I will recommend you to go with Jet Blue flight.

My boyfriend is flying to South Africa at 11:15 from T4, and he doesn't have a phone and I can't see if there's internet at JFK. Is there any way to find out if he has checked in successfully?
