Hi, I'm first time to US, my route arrival JFK arround 1545, but next flight as 2240, reduced 2 hours check-in at airport. I have 5 hours from 1600 ~ 2000, any place proposal to go? for sight seeing?

It will take you about an hour to get to Manhattan and one hour back to JFK so that will leave you about three hours to have some fun. Suggest taking the NYAS bus from your terminal to Port Authority Bus Terminal (42nd St. & 8th Ave.) which is a block from Times Square. Walk around midtown and check out the sights. You can return to Port Authority for the NYAS bus back to JFK or if you're near Grand Central Station (42nd St. & Park Ave.) or Penn Station (33rd St. & 7th Ave.) you can get the NYAS bus there as well.

Hello, I will arrive Terminal 4 Sat. next 4pm. I would like to know the cheapest transport to Baltic Street Brooklyn also is this safe neighbourhood - this is my first time in US. Thank you.

What address on Baltic St. are you going to? It stretches from Cobble Hill east to near Prospect Park. Cheapest is by subway but LIRR might be a good alternative. By LIRR ($13), take Airtrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station and take the LIRR to Atlantic Terminal. Walk down 4th Ave. to Baltic St., any address below 600 is to your right. By subway ($7.25) take Airtrain to Howard Beach Station and transfer to the A subway to Hoyt/Schermerhorn. Exit to Bond St. and walk south on Bond to Baltic, any address below 400 is to your right. The area from Cobble Hill to near 4th Ave. is pretty safe, past 4th Ave. gets a bit "rougher".

I read in the comment that there is a shuttle that goes from JFK to Newark airport. What is the name of the shuttle company that goes from JFK to Newark airport? is there a website where I can book the trip online?

how much does it cost?

It is called State Shuttle(Olympic Limo). It costs $30/passenger. It does not make sense booking on-line since it won't guarantee you space and is not cheaper(if it is available at all, I am not sure).
Here is the website :

How long does it take to get from JFK to Jamaica station on the airtrain? Arriving on Egyptair...don't know the terminal.

You will be arriving at Terminal 4. From there to Jamaica Station on the train takes 15 min.

options to go from JFK to Times Square area?

1. Taxi-flat rate $45+tolls+tip direct to your destination.
2. NYAS bus from your terminal to 42nd St. & 8th Ave./Port Authority-$15
3. Airtrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to E subway to 42nd St./Port Authority-$7.25.

Hi, I'm arriving on 26th June, about 2 p.m.
How can I get to Manhattan from JFK? I'd like something not too expensive but comfortable.

Where in Manhattan are you going? Options are:
-taxi; $50+tip anywhere in Manhattan
-NYAS bus to Grand Central-42nd & Park Ave., Port Authority-42nd & 8th Ave. (Times Square area) or Penn Station-33rd between 7th & 8th Ave.; $15.
-Airtrain to Jamaica Station, LIRR to Penn Station. You can take the subway at Jamaica Station (E or J) or Howard Beach Station (A) but I wouldn't call it comfortable, but it's cheap and will take you pretty much anywhere in Manhattan ($7.25 including Airtrain fare).

I'm going to a place nearby Met.
I was thinking about a bus but I'm not so sure if I can make it - I'll have a luggage, one carry-on and notebook - not so easy for me to travel with all of them by bus or a subway.
I think I could pay $50 for the cab but I'm afraid that the taxi driver might rip me off my money and I'll have to pay like $100 or sth, is it possible?
