It looks like T7 is better place. The terminal is smaller than T8 and it is easier to find each other at T7.

i am asking for meet & assist help at the airport to guide 15yrs old pax from terminal to another, is it possible???

please it is urgent

Contact the involved airline for that.

Hi,
Does JFK has any retiring Rooms for resting between flights and also any shower stalls?
How much times does it take to travel between terminal 4 to terminal 8 and how to travel.

There are lot of hotels, cafes and resting placing in the terminals. Shower rooms are available only in lounges which are paid(about $30-50).

Use AirTrain to transit between terminals. Airtrain runs every few minutes and takes only 5-10 mins to travel between each terminal.

Signs are displayed for finding Airtrain all over the airport

There are lounges at T4 where the passenger can take a shower. It costs ~$35-$50.

I WILL BE LEAVING TRINIDAD ON AUG 12TH @ 915 AND ARRIVING JFK ON AUG 13TH @2:20AM, I AM TRAVELLING WITH A 23 MONTH OLD AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW LONG WOULD I TAKE TO PASS THROUGH CUSTOMS AND IMMIGRATION? I AM HOPING THAT TIME I WILL BE ARRIVING WILL MAKE IT A QUICKER, FASTER AND EASIER PROCESS, THANK YOU VERY MUCH

about 1 hour

There are not that many flights at that time and it will be quicker to go through the formalities. Plan on spending 20-40 min. in there.

Please what's the operating time of JFK? Is it open 24x7? Thank you.

The airport operates 24-7 however only terminal 4 is open 24 hours a day. The other terminals generally close for a while during the overnight hours.

Hi. I am landing in JFK on Air Iberia in terminal 7. And then I am catching a flight on Delta in terminal 2. Should I recheck my bags in terminal 7 or take them to terminal 2 with me and check them there? Which is faster, as I only have 2 hrs between the time my Iberia flight lands (7pm) and my Delta departs (9pm)
Thanks

If you take the bags with you at T2 make sure that you will check them there at least 1 hour prior to departure time.
Since you have only two hours time between the flights I will suggest you to do that at Iberia connecting flights counter at T7.

I will be arriving Friday from Abu Dhabi on Eithad. This will be my first trip through JFK. Will I have to collect my bags before I head to my flight on American Airlines? Also, how will I navigate between terminals. Very confused about Airtrain. I would appreciate detailed information. Thanks

Gina

You will have to collect your bags because you will undergo US customs check. Then you can either recheck them in at Etihad connecting flights counter at T4 or take them with you and recheck them in at AA check-in counter at T8.
At T4 go to the third floor and take any train on any track. It will take you to T8 which is three stops away(regardless of the train).
