After the September 11, 2001 attacks, JFK was one of the first airports in the United States to be temporarily closed.

Many thanks

Hi, do you have ATM machines at the immigration area or after the baggage claim area? I will be arriving at AA terminal. Tks!

There are two ATM machines after the baggage claim area - one by the elevators, the second one is by the domestic baggage claim carousels.

Hi,
Can I mail a package from the airport? If there is no post/courier services at the airport, where is the nearest one?
Thank you,
Igor

The closest post office is outside terminal area - see this for reference:

Where can I buy ticket if I live in Newton MA and the only way I can pay for it is cash?

I am flying to Australia tomorrow evening - can I pay to use lounge facilities there. If so, do they provide the towels for use after showering???

Kind regards,
CA

Where is the closest lounge to terminal 3?

I'm from Dubai planning to visit US on 19th Oct, arriving JFK at 14hrs and would like to go to Bridgewater NJ or Metro Park Station NJ. Can anybody advice which is the best & cheapest way to travel by metro & train also let me know the cost of taxi.
thank you very much

Taxi would cost about $100. By train; take Airtrain from terminal to Jamaica Station and either E subway or LIRR to Penn Station. From there take NJ Transit-NE Corridor train to Metropark. Airtrain $5, subway $2.25 (LIRR $5.75 off peak/$8-peak), NJ Transit $10.

Hi,

My wife and kids are travelling from Pittsburgh to India via JFK. In Terminal 3, in JFK, is there any help available to get the luggages to Terminal 4. They have 6 bags and two strollers. Looking for help to move the luggages from Terminal 3 to 4

Regards
Balu Thomas

Have them ask the airline at check-in in Pittsburgh if bags will be checked through to the final destination, which would be a big help. If not, they will collect bags at baggage claim, rent a baggage cart, take everything to Airtrain and take any train on track 1 one stop to terminal 4. Baggage carts are ok on Airtrain. If bags are checked through take Airtrain as above but they'll have less to schlep!

Hello

My girlfriend and I are flying out of JFK to different destinations. I am off to Dublin, Ireland on DL164 (Terminal 3) and she is gong to Bogota, Colombia on AV 0285 (terminal 4).

Since I fly earlier than her, can she check in at terminal 3 and then head off for her flight later?

Thanks

Rodrigo
