I would like to know how do I get to the 79st, from JFK airport?

Thank you

Hello
I will be travelling FROM Accra to LAN.I will connect from JFK to DTW and finally to LAN.all with delta. My arrival at JFK is 5:00pm and departure to DTW is 6:20pm.I am first time F-1 student. Please my questions are as follows:
1.Do I have enough time to go throuhg immigration and customs and catch the connecting flight?
2.Which terminal will I arrive and depart from JFK?

At detroit,I have 56 min. layover to connect to Lansing will that be enough as well?

Please I need the response as soon as possible.

this is my fist time in the airport and i arrive in t8 and i have to get to t4 because im meeting there with family.
how do i get there?

I am flying from Dubai to JFK. I would like to buy flowers for my wife in Dubai. Can I bring them to US or will they be taken away as prohibitive item? Please advise.

Go to the second floor of T8, follow the signs for the Airtrain and after you get to the platform - take it on track 2. T4 is three stops away.

I need to meet someone that is taking an Areoflot flight out of Terminal one tomorrow. Where is a good place to meet them by departures? Thanks

You can meet them by the central entrance(it is a big revolving door) or by Aeroflot check-in counter.

Can I get flat rate $45++ from Days Inn hotel on JFK or do I need to go back to the terminal (3 pax). What´s my best bet, thanks.

The flat fare is only from JFK to Manhattan, so , yes, you have to go back to any terminal at JFK and get yellow cab from there if you want to take advantage of the flat fare.

We will be arriving on 10/31/10 to terminal 3 about 2:30pm. Our flight to Tel Aviv doesn't leave until 9:30pm. Will there be enough time to go into Manhatten to take a tour bus and get back to the airport the required 2 hrs ahead of flight? Any feedback will be appreciated. 1st time at JFK. Thanks.

Allow at least one hour travel time to/from JFK. Taxi is $45+tolls+tip each way. NYAS express bus from all terminals goes to/from JFK and Grand Central Station (Park Ave/42nd St), Port Authority Bus Terminal (8th Ave/42nd St-near Times Square) or Penn Station (7th Ave/33rd St), cost is $15 each way. By the time you get to Manhattan you may only have a few hours to spare before you need to get back to JFK by 7pm or thereabouts.

Arrving 11/1/10 I need to go from JFK to 111 E. 56th St. NY 10022.
First time to NY...how much will Taxi be?? Any tolls?
Thanks!

Flat fare of $45 plus 5.50 tolls for the whole yellow cab.
