need help please!!!
I arrive at JFK terminal 8 from Rayleigh North Carolina at 1.10 pm by an AA flight. I have a connecting Air India flight from Terminal 4 at 4:00 pm. Do I have to clear customs at JFK? Is there enough time if have to pick up my bags and transfer them to Terminal 4 myself? Please help, really anxious....Thank you.
No need to clear customs
No need to clear customs when arriving on a domestic flight or departing on an international flight. You have plenty of time. Take AirTrain on track 2 from T8 (AA) to T4.

We will fly on AA from Boston to JKF then JFK to Narita, JP. there are 4 of us, So we have 8 luggages at 50 pounds/each. Do we have to pay for the luggages from Boston to JFK.

I am an Italian citizen. To come back to Italy, I will arrive to JFK terminal 8 from SFO with an AA flight at 3:30pm. I have an AA flight to Madrid at 5:25 pm, from terminal 8, and finally will get to Italy.
I would like to know if:
1. I have to clear customs in JFK,
2. I have to collect and re-check my luggage or it will arrive at the final destination,
3. 1h55min is enough time for doing this.

My parents are flying in from Abu Dhabi to JFK (Terminal 4)arrviing at 16:30 and then have a connecting flight to STL from Terminal 8 at 18:30. Is 2 hours enough to clear customs and get to the other terminal?

It is kind of tight - at that time it is very busy at T4 and that will further delay their journey through US immigration and customs. Hope that the first flight is on time. They will need around 10-15min to get from T4 to the check-in counters at T8(via Airtrain).

Hi JFK_Employee.
My predicament is similar. Arriving Emirates JFK T4 at 1350 and need to catch AA from T8 at 1600. Bags may not be checked through. Will 2 hrs be enough to clear immigration and customs and then get to AA to check in bags for the 4pm flight? (Plan to use the Airtrain - but still... :o(
