You may have a better shot at making the connection but it will still be tight for you. Also regardless how many bags you will have you still have to go through immigration and customs. Please also note that there might be traffic on your way to LGA and please remember and consider that there might be snow since we are in the middle of winter(you never know). When it comes to flights and being on time to your flight it is better to be safe than sorry. I hope you will make it but if I was you I would try to make other arrangements just to be on a safe side.

arrived 40 minutes late at jfk (5:40pm). luckily, we had a first row in economy class, so we were first in line at customs. only had a carry-on, nothing to check out. got in a cab at 5:49pm. were in lga at 6:15 and made an earlier 6:55pm non-stop flight instead of 1 stop 7:40pm flight. so, all in all, it was super fast. only took us 35 minutes to get from the airplane to lga. not bad at all.

JFK_Specialist_, you don't know if this passenger is arriving domestic or international at JFK. So why you then talking about immigrations and customs?
In either case the passenger will be out by 6pm - enough time to get to LGA by 6:40pm(1 hour prior to departure).
Should'n people not familiar with JFK Airport stay away and not mislead the passengers?

baggage not receieved,no status provided since Dec 24th. Having the baggage file reference number is no use. No BA agent called to say exactly where my property is at or when I can expect it. What makes it worse is that it is a huge white styrotex box and marked FRAGILE and my name and address is in RED!

Lost, upset and disappointed in BA

Dont know what to do next!!

New Year's Eve or not - a real person would be helpful to talk to regarding my flight on 1 January to London. Calling the 1800 number is no help considering the office is closed until Monday 3rd when I am supposed to fly on 1st and due to an urgent medical matter, I now have to reschedule, but there is no-one to tell, except via email or phone msg.

I arrive at JFK, Terminal 7 from an international flight at 13:10 on JUNE 25th (a Saturday). About how long would it take for me to clear immigration, pick up my baggage and get out of the terminal?

We landed on Tuesday afternoon after 11 hours on the tarmac. Where are our luggage? Could not get any response from Cathay Pacific to voice mails, emails. How could we get our luggage? Delivery? Pick Up?

You should be getting your luggage in a 3 day time frame from your arrival. If you dont you should call Cathay Pacific.

I was also on CX 888 that landed on the 27th after spending 11 hours on the tarmac, and I haven't heard about my baggage either. It is ridiculous that Cathay hasn't contacted anyone, or posted anything on their website, about the baggage situation. Until we get our bags back, this horrible experience continues...
