Connect Time Concern
Hi,
I fly into JFK at 22.15 with AA at terminal 8, to connect with a flight to London at 23.40 (also with AA at terminal 8) for a return flight from Orlando to the UK.
Do I have enough time to make that connection? I am very concerned that 1hr 20 mins is not long enough. I am flying home to the UK and will go through customs when I get to Heathrow.
transiting JFK
1 day ago it took me 2 hours 30 minutes to transit JFK on AA incoming and outgoing flights at T8 and that included going through the US citizens fast-track channel for immigration. AA check through luggage to final destination but for customs purposes it has to be picked up at JFK and re-checked through security. JFK is a transit nightmare. Good luck.

If you're flight from Orlando is on time you should be ok. AA should check your bags through to Heathrow so when you arrive just proceed to the departure gate in T8.

Are there any sleeping rooms or compartments where you can pay by the hour at the airport or do you have to find a room at an onsite Hotel and if so what would we the name of Hotels located on the airport premises.
