Nonsense! Taxis from JFK to Manhattan charge a flat fee of $45 (set by law) plus tolls (if any) and tip. Detailed ground transportation options that are much less expensive can be found at www.flyerguide.com.

Hi,
Can you please advise on the easiest/cost effective way from gramercy park to T4 for a 10:30AM flight- taxi/airtrain/bus?
Many thanks

Cheapest is by subway/AirTrain $7.25; take the uptown #6 subway from 23rd St (at Park Ave S) to 51st St, transfer to the Jamaica-bound E subway to Sutphin Blvd/JFK, transfer to AirTrain to terminals. Taxi will cost $45+tolls+tip.

Thanks for the advice. Main concern is avoiding traffic/time spent to get to jfk. Will LLR+airtrain or taxi quicker? I understand the first costs about $13.75/person?
Thanks again, appreciate

hello ,i will fly from JFK airport to China in May 21,and i bought some items in NY,and the staff told me that if i go back to china ,i can get tbe tax refund from JFK airport ,is this right?

Hello, I will be flying back from Ukraine and landing at 5:05 at T4 and need to catch flight to Tampa FL from T3 by 7:30. Is this enough time to go through customs, collect luggage, check in, and go through security (on a normal day at least?)?
Thank you!

You should be ok if your arrival is on-time.

My daughter is arriving at JFK on Sat., May 21 on an Iberia flight at 7:05 p.m. They rescheduled the flight so that it now arrives three hours later than originally planned. This leaves only a two hour connection time. She is scheduled to fly to Chicago on Delta at 9:00 p.m. (the last flight of the evening).

Can you please let us know the procedure for going thru customs and how best to get from Terminal 7 to Terminal 3.
Would you also confirm that Delta flies out of Terminal 3.
Thank you.

She will collect her bags at customs; if bags are tagged to Chicago drop them off at the connecting flights counter after she exits customs, otherwise she will need to re-check at Delta. Take AirTrain on track 2 from T7 to Delta T3.

Hello, Is there any type of service available to help someone negotiate from one terminal to another for a connecting international flight?

Thanks
