Did not take luggage at the customs
I travelled from India to Atlanta via JFK international Airport . All my custom formalities were done at JFK. But I did not take my 2 piece luggage from JFK and passed through custom thinking that the luggage would be sent directly to Atlanta through my connecting Delta flight. But the baggage did not arrive to Atlanta . I filed a complaint with Delta airlines.
Do you know how many days does it take for Customs to to clear unaccompanied luggage . What is the custom process ? Can I contact someone ? Do I ever receive my Luggage?
Food
Its 945am on a Thursday and behind the security line in a brand new terminal, there is only Peets Coffee open out of 9 concessions. What a complete joke of an airport. And Pete's is out of food.
Pickup international traveler
My niece if flying in from Dublin to JFK arriving 7:25 p.m. Sunday. What time should I be there with my two small children to greet her? One hour after she lands to allow going through customs? Then how much more time to get luggage? THANKS!

JFK Staff
On my first visit to US from the UK, this wasn't a nice start to our holiday. The staff were very rude to people queuing at the Delta check in. There was a short red haired european sounding lady, just so bad tempered telling people off. And not knowing what to do once you got to the security desk, the person didn't put you at ease whatsoever.
Transfers between T4 and T7
Hi,
Were a group of 7 girls arriving next week but one of the group are arriving into T7 and the rest are arriving into T4. Is it possible to meet up so we can all get a taxi/transfer together without wasting too much time?? Who is the best value transfer company to get to hotel in Manhattan ??

There is an airport train
There is an airport train that circles around the airport terminals, so one group can ride that to meet up with the other group at the other terminal. It's a free train. As far as a transport company, you can take Super Shuttle or another bus service, but it would likely be cheaper to take two taxis or a car service to the city. A taxi is typically around $45 plus tip, and car service is around $60 plus tip. Super Shuttle charges $15 per passenger, and you often have to wait for other people in the shuttle to be dropped off first, depending on where your hotel is located.

JFK Terminal 3 and Terninal 2.......
I will fly from ATL to JFK landing in Terminal 3. I depart from Terminal 2 after a layover of 2:40. I understand there is a walkway from T3 to T2. Is that the best route to take. Is there a shuttle or tram. I understand there's a tram outside of security. I don't want to have to go back through security. Thanks for any advice.

hi, im annabel, i want to become a flight attendent, i was born in jersey but i moved to brazil two years ago, and i wanted to know if i move back to new york live by JFK can i work in TAM airlines since i know portuguese and english fluently, or would i have to start off at an american airline? thanks
From Finnair flight connecting with AA
Hi.
Can anybody help:
Inbound flight from Helsinki (Finnair) arrives to JFK at 15:50 and connection with AA to Miami is at 17:15. Would be that connection too risky? This connection is given for me from Finnair website when booking my ticket..
Both airlines leave from the same terminal..

You should be ok. You will
You should be ok. You will have to first go through immigration and get your bags and go through customs. But as soon as you exit - you will leave your bags for the connecting flight and all you have to do is to find you departure gate for Miami.
