1. Yellow cab - the price will be on the meter; expect to pay anywhere between $40-$50(for the whole cab), depending on the traffic conditions.
2. Airtrain to Jamaica Station; Subway E to Roosevelt Ave; Subway F to 21 str-Queens Bridge; walk two blocks on 21st street towards 39th Ave; make a right on 39th Ave; walk 4 blocks to Crescent Street and make left - that is where Ramada is. Cost - $7.25 per person.

Hi there,

I will be landing at JFK on monday the 19th at around 11am and wanted to know if there is any shuttle service that can take me from the airport to the hostel, and if there is how much will it cost.

Thanks in advance

Catarina

There is shuttle that you can book at Ground Transportation(Welcome Center) counter after you arrive. It cost $18.50 per passenger. It is door-to-door shared ride van.

hi. i will be landing in NYC on the 19th of aprile(next monday). Was wondering what's the fastest/cheapest way to get to Manhattan, should I take an airport bus(which I believe stops at Grand Central Station?) or is there a subway stop directly at JFK?

thanks for your help

You can take the Airtrain from your terminal to either Howard Beach station for the A subway or to Jamaica station for the E subway and LIRR. Airtrain/subway is $7.25, add another $6 or so for LIRR. Depending on where in Manhattan you are going it will take at least one hour or more via subway, faster by LIRR. Go to www.mta.info/nyct for maps and info.

Hello,

I am arriving JFK tomorrow in the morning and I need a bus to Rockerfeller Plaza. Which bus should I take and how much does this cost? In the evening, I will need a bus from Rockerfeller Plaza to La Gardia airport. Which bus runs that route and how much will in cost? Thanks in advance.

Thanks

Go to Ground Transportation(Welcome Center) counter. They have shuttles that will take you to Rockefeller Plaza. Have also them give you the phone numbers of those shuttles so you can book one on your way from Rockefeller Plaza to La Guardia.

Could you help me?
I'm arriving on the morning of April 16 to JFK. I want to know the way to my hotel, Affinia Shelburne at 303 Lexington Ave. I have no idea which transtportation I can use to get there. Please help me. Thanks.

Here are the three most common ways to get there:
1.Yellow cab (from JFK to any point to Manhattan) costs flat fare of $45 + bridge toll($5.50)
2. Using public Transportation
Take Airtrain from any terminal on track 1 to Jamaica Station( be careful - on that track there are two alternating trains going to different routes; check the sign above the doors as the train arrives; the red colored sign is Jamaica one). Then take subway line E to Lexington Ave stop and transfer to subway line 6 going towards downtown. Get off at Grand Central stop.Cost-$7.25.
The hotel is 5 blocks away walking south on Lexington Ave(intersection with E37th street)
3. Shuttle
There is shuttle(look for it at Ground transportation counter or Welcome Center) that goes to the hotel for $18.50 per person.
