Prepaid SIM card most likely would be found at T4 - Hotel Reservation Desk sells them.

What is the best way to get to Grand Central Station?
Also, about how long will it take me to get there from JFK?

Taxi - it will cost you flat fare of $50 for the whole cab.Travel time - 40-50min.
Besides that express bus NYAS can take you there for $15, ~1 hr.

Hi.
I'm an international traveller. I'll be arriving at JFK and I have a connecting flight at Newark liberty. The total time between my flights is 3 hours 35 minutes. I have checked out the shuttle service provided by Air Train and I was wondering - do I have enough time to clear immigration and security checks and make it to Newark?

Thanks and regards

The time frame is very tight - if you want to make your flight at Newark - take a taxi!
The shuttle(which is State Shuttle ,not Air Train) often takes up to 2-2.5 hours to get there and very often late due to traffic conditions.

Hello, my friend is about to fly form JFK to Prague with Delta, I Know it departs from Terminal 3 ,but there will be a long stopover in Prague for 14 hours, and then there will be another connecting flight from Prague with another skyteam partner airline. I'M asking if there is a chance/or possible, to ask the Delta ground Staff at JFK ,to check in the luggage -only to Prague- the connection point,
reclaim it after landing in Prague,go outside to the city for the transit time and then come back to the airport, 2Hours before departure of 2nd flight and check in again for the next flight?

Are those two flights on the same ticket? If no - just don't tell them about the second flight and they won't check the bags to the final destination.
If yes - then the chances are very slim that they will check the bags only to Prague, but let him try and speak to Delta at JFK.

First of all, thank you again for the essential info, now let's say that the tickets are on the same reservation ,and the check in is All the way to the final destination. is it legal to leave the airport in prague ,while on transit and leave the luggage to "go from one aircraft to another alone" and then reach the check in counter to recheck only the passenger (if he doesnt have the 2nd boardingpass/reach the security with the 2nd boarding pass that was already issued at JFK? just noticed the known warning "don't leave your luggage unattended"...

Thank you very much for everything...

because I think that it's too much time (14Hours)to spend inside a terminal ,even if you have dutyfree shops and restaurants...

I thing I start getting your situation....:)
Transiting through a city does not mean that you have to get physically your checked-in luggage and be with it the whole layover time(I don't think it is possible at all). Your bags will be in possession of the airlines and they won't be considered unattended. As for your friend - he has to check with the authorities in Prague if he is able to leave the airport and come back.

Thank You Very Much sir.
