GPS

You need to contact TSA and make sure you call the police, you may also file a report with police, next time you are in JFK call the police department and also send a report to the maker of your GPS with the serial number, and they may help you.

Laptop

If you bought a laptop in New York and wanted to bring it back on a plane via. Air Lingus to Ireland. Is that possible?
Even if you kept it in the original packaging and put it in Checked-In Luggage?

They suggest you check in

They suggest you check in your bag if possible. Apparently this hasn't been updated in a while and does not mention that almost every major airline now charges you extra for any bag you check in.

Bad behaviour in JFK terminal 8

I was May 10 about 4 pm. on terminal 8 and gone trough metal detector. I had boarding card in my breast pocket. When the official saw it, she accidently cauht it from my breast pocket. Had a look to my borading card and slipped it back. I was surprices, what in hell she do. I think that was very bad behaviour, because she could as me if she wondered something. And what has boarding card to do with security.

Was that written statement

Was that written statement even in english. Boarding card has to do with security in the fact that it shows you are getting on an airline that day. An that you are not just coming thru security to meet with somebody or drop off something your carrying.
