LOST BAGGAGE WITH MEDICAL SUPPLIES
On June 5th, I traveled from Tampa, FL to New York JFK airport with American Airlines. My next connecting flight to Warsaw was delayed by 20 hours and LOT airlines never got the bag I checked in in Tampa. Along the way, in the airport hassle, I accidentally threw out my baggage stickers (this is a big problem now). The bag did not arrive at my final destination, Minsk.
I am very worried about losing my bag because it has all of my diabetes supplies in it. What can I possibly do to recover it? Where might it be now? Where can I call or email? The only information I have is the Record Locator from my boarding pass Tampa-NY, my electronic ticket number, and a description of the bag. The agents at the Minsk airport sent a telegram to NY about this, but no reply followed.
Please help!!!!!
Regd. Baggage Recheck
Hi,
My Parents will be arriving in AI at terminal 4 and they have to board the connecting flight AA in T8.
I have the below 2 questions:
1) After they complete the Immigration, Baggage claim and Customs in Terminal 4, do they need to carry their baggages the whole way from T4 to T8 or is there any AA counter located in T4, where they can recheck and deposit their baggages and can go freehands to T8.
2) If they need a interpreter during their Immigration check and Custom clearance, whom to contact? or is it the officer at the desk can arrange some one at the moment? Thanks a lot in advance for any help on this.

1.) They have to look for AI connecting flights counter at T4 where they can transfer their bags onto the AA flight;
2.) If their documents are OK, they will not need an interpreter. Which happens in 99% of the cases.
Other wise there are people inside customs and immigration that can translate for them.

Bringing a Puppy from China
Hi,
I have bought a small puppy (3 months old) while staying in China and want to bring it with me on my flight from Shanghai to New York City. Could you let me know generally what the procedure is for bringing dogs from abroad? Are there any specific New York State or New York City rules or regulations that I should be aware of?

Assistance for non-english speaking travellers
HI my parents are travelling to JFK from India and they can't speak or understand english. Is there any assistance avaliable to take them to immigration area and custom area and then bring them outside after they finish all formalities at immigrationa and custom. Airlines is not ables to wheelchair assistance.

With 3 bags I'd take a taxi.
With 3 bags I'd take a taxi. It's only a 20 minute ride and will cost you about $20 + tip.
transport for 5 to manhatten at midnight
My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens/school age children) will arrive at midnight in July and require transport to the city thereafter. What is the safest and most economical way to go? Traveling on Subway sounds risky for time of night.
How do I get a taxi for 5 people??? I do not have a firm booking as of yet but expect to stay in Chelsea or midtown at a serviced apt. Thank you

I will be arriving at JFK terminal 3 on Delta Airlines from Brussels, connecting to a domestic flight from JFK to Orlando also on Delta Airlines. What will happen to my luggage? Do I have to go through Customs at JFK or In Orlando?

You will go through immigration , pick up your bags, go through customs and then recheck your bags again with Delta. Everything that takes place at JFK.

We are also flying from PIT to Guayna with a 5:30 layover. Any suggestion on how to spend the time? Also is there a place in JFK to do a money exchange for Guyana?

we will be flying from Georgetown,Guyan through JFK to PIT with 1:50 lay over, both connect in terminal 3. Is this enough time? How long usually to go through customs?

You will be OK - it takes 30-40 min to go through customs/immigration.
