Getting to Avis Rent a Car from Terminal 4
We will be arriving at Terminal 4 and would like to know if:
1) the Avis rent a car is in the terminal building.
2) If not, is the Avis Rent a Car which is located in JFK Building 30 Federal Circle NA Jamaica NY 11430 the nearest location to Terminal 4.
3) Emirates provides a limo service to its business class passengers, would it be easier to take the limo to the Avis location referred in point 2 or would it be easier getting to this location by the Air Train.
Appreciate an urgent response as the travel is early July.
re:Getting to Avis Rent a Car from Terminal 4
1.)No, Avis is not located in Terminal 4.
2.)Yes, this is the closest location to Terminal 4.
3.)You have to speak with Emirates about that - even I thinkk the most convenient way is to take Airtrain on the third floor, on track 1 to Federal Circle(10min ride). Avis is located on the first floor of Federal Circle Station.

Transfer
I will be arriving by KLM from Amsterdam and will change flight to Seattle, operated by Delta. I don't know the terminal for my arriving flight but I assume it is T4. The connecting flight is from T3. My question is, do I have to carry my luggage to T3 after immigration and customs, or can I drop it somewhere at T4?
re: will be arriving by KLM from Amsterdam and will change fligh
You have to pick up you bags in order to go through US customs. After that just find the Delta connecting flights counter at T4 and have them transfer the bags.

EgyptAir Boarding Pass
I am transferring from a US Airways flight to EgyptAir in Terminal 4. Where do I print my boarding pass for EgyptAir?
re:EgyptAir Boarding Pass
You can:
-either have US Airways print them at your origin city
-or have Egypt Air issue them here, at JFK, before you board their flight.

Can my father say goodbye inside?
I am a college student flying alone for the first time on my way to study abroad in Spain. Is my father able to come inside the airport, at least until I reach security, to say goodbye to me? Or will he have to stay outside in the car and let me off at the curb?
re:Is my father able to come inside the airport, at least until
He can park the car(in the parking lot) and come with you inside the building and as far as the security check point.

Baggage transfer from Terminal 7 to 4
Hi,
My wife and kids are traveling into JFK on USAIR and have to fly onwards on emirates. They will arrive at Terminal 7 and fly out of Terminal 4. Unfortunately the bags (total 5) could not be checked through to Emirates so they will have to collect at JFK. Could you tell me if there is a recheck desk where the bags could be checked in or at least transferred to Emirates Terminal 4? They have 6 hours between the flights, so time should not be a problem. If there is no recheck option, any other suggestions short of the air train (we had a tough time with the cart on it last time)?
Thank you!
re:My wife and kids are traveling into JFK on USAIR and have to
If US Air was not able to check them through it does not make sense to look for connecting flights counter - they simply will refuse you too.
One of the options is to get a baggage handler(they will expect to be tipped) and let him help them with the bags all the way to T4, Emirates check-in counter.
The other option is to take a taxi(if all the passengers are no more than 5). There are taxis that will accommodate the bags . It will cost them $10-$15.

how to get through the airport.
hello, my friend is flying on British Airways, and arriving in terminal 4. i've never flown into JFK, so i can't fully explain to her how to get through the customs check at the end of the flight. i am assuming that it is like most airports, but i have a couple questions. will she be able to get her bags right after the customs check and still be able to wait in the terminal for me? and since i am arriving in terminal 8 how do i get to terminal 4 to get her? then where would be the best place for my family to get us in terminal 4? if someone could help, i would really appreciate it. thanks!
re:how to get through the airport.
Check your info again - British is landing at T7. Use Airtrain on track 2 from T8 and get off next stop (T7).
Your friend can have her bags after customs check. Convinient place for pick up is at T7, 1 st floor arrivals.
