Thank you so much - as you can appreciate it's going to be a difficult task on my own

Hello, I am traveling international alone with 2 young children. I am not able to check in my luggage all the way to my destination, is there a way for me to hire help to me take my luggage from one terminal to the other, since I will have stroller, 2 kids and 4 bags? Thank you for your answer in advance!

Look for a baggage handler - sometimes they are willing to help .

I arrived on 6-23-10 at JFK. I inadvertently gave the immigration officer my envelope containing personal documents together with an envelope that had documents from US embassy, Nairobi. How can I get back my personal documents?

You have to go to the same terminal and try to get in touch with immigration people there.

I will be arriving from Paris on XL airlines at 10:00 pm on July 7. Is there a place for my ride to pull up and wait in the car to pick me up? How long from arrival will it take to get through customs?

It takes 30-50 minutes to go through immigration/customs. Your ride can wait at the cellphone parking lot which is free and 5 min away from the terminal.

Dear JFK Employee:

What is the luggage and Carry-on size and weight restrictions/limitations for most airlines? Please advise.

Thank you.

Most of them accept 50lbs as max, but again check with the airline you are traveling with - there might be difference from what most of them are accepting.

Will I be able to buy a cell phone prepaid plan from Terminal 4 ?

If anybody can sell that - it will be Hotel Reservation desk . Check with them - they are located on the first floor of the building.

I'm arriving at 8:30 pm, August 3 at Terminal 8 on an international AA flight from Paris. My next flight, on domestic AA to San Francisco from T8 is at 6:45 a.m, August 4.
- Can I wait at Terminal 8 overnight ?
- Do I have to pick up my luggage and recheck the bag, or will AA check the bags for the entire trip from Paris to San Francisco?
Thank you

Once you land you can check with AA if they let you stay at the terminal. Since you are coming on international flight you HAVE TO pick up your bags in order to go through customs(even AA, I am sure will check the bags all the way through SFO).

Is there an interpreter service for people who don't speak English (viz. Russian)?

No, there is no such a service at JFK.
