There are paid lounges at T4, third floor.
Some of the baggage handlers do agree to help passengers transfer bags between the terminals. There is also wheelchair assistance that you can request from the airline(Emirates) that will transfer the passenger between the terminals. Contact Emirates to obtain that assistance.

You indicated that there are 'Paid Lounges" at T4, 3rd floor.
Can you advise re rates, what facilities are available in those lounges and whether they are open/available 24/7 ? (I will be arriving on Sunday, August 1 at 5:40 a.m.)
Alternately, are there free rest areas or lounges elsewhere in the terminal?
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Check out their web site - it says it all.

Dear sir,

I'm arriving at JFK Terminal 4 around 7:30 am. Is it reasonable to expect to get to Manhattan around 10 am (West Village), taking into account immigration/customs and shuttle/taxi?

Thanks!!

Absolutely reasonable - you will have up to 40 min in immigration/customs and another 45 min for a taxi to Manhattan or 1hr-1hr:30min for shuttle.

Please advise if 2 hours are sufficient - my client (South African passport with US visa) is arriving at Terminal 4 with Egyptair from Cairo, MS985 at 15:15.

He then has to connect to Bermuda at 17:20, with American Airlines from Terminal 8.

That means he has 2 hours to clear customs and immigration (visa line) and has to change from terminal 4 to terminal 8.

Please advise soonest.

He should be OK - hope Egyptair is not late.
Let him transfer the bags(if he has any) at Egypt Air connecting flights counter immediately after customs.
Then take Airtrain from T4(any train) to T8.

Can you please help me with the quickest way to move from the Terminal 4 to terminal 3??

Airtrain on track 2 only - it is less than 1 minute before you reach next stop - T3.

I've been trying to confirm my 9:30pm flight to Madrid on Air Europa tomorrow (#92), but their number (1-800-238-7672) is down. Is there any other way to reach them to confirm the flight?

1-800-238-7672/1-888-238-7672
or

Hi,

My mother is visiting me in Raleigh, NC. She already has a flight from New York to Abu Dhabi (JFK->CAI->AUH) on Egyptair. I need to buy her a separate ticket from RDU to JFK, however.

She told me that in the past she would usually have to pick up her suitcases in JFK and re-check them, but the last time she flew, they checked her all the way through. I noticed that Egyptair is in StarAlliance, which also includes United and US Airways, so figured they would be my best shot at securing my mom a less strenuous trip. However, the people reached when I tried a couple of different numbers listed on their webpages didn't seem to know.

You wouldn't happen to have this information by any chance, would you?

The best answer you will get from United or US Airways in RDU(not 1-800 numbers) - try to find those numbers.
If those airlines are in StarAlliance then they should have a baggage transfer agreement and check her bags all the way through.

My 12 and 10 year old niece & nephew are traveling alone, arriving at Terminal 4. As I understand I can't enter Baggage Claim, where can I meet them? Thank you.

You can wait for them by international arrivals exit at T4 - they will be escorted by LOT polish representatives.
