Hi. I am arriving at terminal 4 at 5:40 am EL AL from Tel Aviv transfering to AA flight to Montreal from terminal 8 - two hours later.
Do I have enough time?
Do I need to take my luggage and recheck at terminal 8?
What is the best way to reach terminal 8 fron terminal 4 ?
thanks

You have time - take Airtrain on the third floor , on any track , to T8.
You have to re-check your bags either at El Al connecting flights counter at T4 or at AA check-in counters at T8.

Hi,I'm arriving to JFK at 8:31am with Jetblue at T5,and need to catch the flight dept at 11:20 with Emirates at T4. I have less than 3 hours to transit,in this case do I have to pick my luggage n re-check in again?
If so, is there enough time to make it? if someone have idea, please give me advice. Thank you so much!

You have plenty of time to transfer.
You have to pick up you bags and re-check them again with Emirates at T4.

I am arriving T2, tehn collect baggages and get to T4 for international flight. Can I rent a baggage cart at T2 and take AirTrain to T4?

Yes, you can do that - baggage carts are available at the vending machines throughout every terminal. It costs $5(nonrefundable) to get one and they are permitted on the Airtrain.

I am traveling from India to Los Angeles with a stop over at JFK. My question is will I have to re-check in my bags at JFK? I am also carrying an additional bag other than the usually allowed two bags. How do I pay for it when I arrive to the US? Your help is very much appreciated in advance.

You have to pick up your bags at JFK, go through US customs and then re-check them in.
Some of the US carriers(if not all of them) will not allow you to carry a third bag on the plane. You may have to check that bag in at the check-in counter of the airline that will fly you over to LAX.

hi,
i will be arriving from Delhi to jfk on 18th august by airindia flight at 6 o' clock in the morning.it's coming on terminal T4.I then have a american airlines flight to columbus at 15:10.So I have a 9 hour waiting time. One of my relatives would like to come and meet me during that time. Can I go outside and meet with him? Secondly Can I book my luggages with american airlines before meeting him? and finally is there any office of american airlines in terminal T4?

Your relative can come and meet you at T4.
You can transfer your bags at Air India Connecting flights counter or go to T8 and check your bags in with AA - they will allow you to check the bags in as long as the flight is on the same day.

I'm flying IND to JFK to CAI - will I need to pick up my luggage in JFK after my IND and then re-check luggage at JFK? Or will it get automatically transfered? My IND to JFK flight is with Delta and JFK to CAI is EgyptAir.

Most likely -No. Double check with Delta in IND.

Is there a baggage transfer counter for Jet Blue at terminal 4 after customs?

Yes, there is , even they do only baggage transfer between their own flights and two or three more airlines(due to the fact that Jet Blue does have baggage transfer agreement with only two or three other airlines).

Friends are arriving at ~11AM in Terminal 4. I am a US Citizen wanting to meet them in a convenient place.

1.) Is there a convenient place for them to meet me (I've never been to JFK before either) at JKF once they clear Immigration in Terminal 4? They have no checked luggage, just a backpack carry-on luggage each.

2.) Since I'm not flying, just meeting them there, where should I wait to meet them outside the gates? Is there a large statue or something easy-to-find that you suggest?

Best wishes,
L
