We are traveling from minnesota to budapest with a 7 hour layover at JFK. We will have a 20 month old with us. Is there anywhere in the airport where kids can play? Do you need a membership to go into the lounges at terminal 4?

How much should a cab cost from JFK to our hotel which is near the Crysler Building? Is that the cheapest way of getting there?

A taxi will have the fare posted -- it is $45.00 plus tolls and tip. DON'T FORGET TO TIP. There is a "Cary Bus" that is cheaper, but then you will have to get yourself & luggage from where it leaves you to your hotel.

Have I missed something? Is this website supposed to provide information or simply be a place for the general public to place random queries in the vain hope that some kind soul will provide an answer. JFK International PR dept (assuming they have one) should be fired!

My wife and I are coming from Nashville to JFK then to Ireland. We have a 6.5 hour layover. Fortunately we arrive and leave at the same terminal.
I am slightly disabled in that I can not walk very long, is this layover going to be a pain or are there enough shops and lounges to keep us occupied?

jfk really sucks, as do their employees. terminal six is terrible, delta is terrible. the ruined my vacation with no apologies and made my flight be delayed 20hrs and wouldnt give us hotels so we all slept on the floor. ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
