You have to know which company(airline) you want to reach. There are hundreds of them at JFK and there is no "central" Human resources department.

the average time to clear immigration, get the bags and clear customs is between 20-40 minutes.

Minimum transfer time from T4-T7 intl to domestic
Hi I am booked on a MS flight from CAI-JFK in june arrives at 3:30pm and my next flight UNITED departs at 6:05 to lax.
do i have enough time to go through immigration, collect my bags, clear security in T4 , transfer to T7 and clear security again

Does passengers of AI 101 flight coming to DC have to go throught Immigration and custom at New York airport or at DC. If at NY , then what is the process?
Connection time
I am flying on delta to jfk on June 7th from SAN. The flight arrives at JFK at 3:00pm and I need to connect to an international flight leaving for JNB at 4:30pm. Both flights are booked through Delta. Will this be enough time to make my connection?

Time from Midtown Manhattan to JFK
What time will I have to leave Midtown to get to JFK for a Tuesday 1700 Departure on United Airlines flight to Frankfurt most likely travelling via a Taxi unless there is a better mode?

Leave midtown between 1330 and 1400. That will guarantee you arriving at JFK by 1500(2 hours prior).

enough time to get from T8 to T4?
Hi there,
I am arriving at T8 at 21:40. My connecting flight to Dubai leaves at 23:00 from T8. Is 1h and 20m enough time to make this changeover? Will I have to go through security again? Also, can you please tell me the easiest and fastest way to get from T8 to T4? Many thanks.

1h and 20m is very tight to do that at JFK. Hope you have your bags checked through so you don't have to wait for them at T8. Take Airtrain from T8 to T4 - it will take you no more that 10 min. And, yes, you have to go through security again at T4.

luggage lockers
I am arriving JFK terminal #7 on BA and will be departing out of terminal #6 the next day. Are there luggage lockers in terminal #6 jetBlue? And if so are they before security?

The only luggage lockers(luggage storage) are at Terminal 1,4, and 8. All of them before security check.
